Now there's a novel idea. Jesus Christ did everybody on this board go to the Jay Jacobs school of business? I hope we get every quarterback that we pursue but let's hold off on the raises please.

Exactly. When everything gets sorted out, if it does, and Briles is found 100% innocent, then by all means, hire him, but until then, you don't touch a coach with that kind of baggage.
And Kendall being the OC, he's right there with the head coach, and his father, of all people. It's one thing for an OC to have a relationship with a coach and be privy to information, but it's another for an OC to be an immediate family member. The assumption that he may have been complicit is enough to not want me to hire him.
There's enough negative recruiting against us now. Just imagine how negative it would get if we hired a coach that was possibly complicit in the cover up of multiple sexual assaults. And if you do hire one of them and it comes out they were complicit after the fact, that's even worse because makes you look foolish.

Back in the recruiting world.... Sounds like Tray Bishop is a very soft commit. He no longer wants to play QB which was the big reason he committed to AU and now wants to be a safety. When KN asked how commited he was he didn't wanna answer the question. He says he still loves AU and they always said he could play something other than QB so we will see

Maybe so but his last 3 visits have been to UGA who have also been pitching hard to play safety. Not saying he will flip just I don't have a ton of confidence in his commitment right now

He could play safety here. With Eddy graduating we now have a void for a defensive player that some fans want to move to offense.

It's crazy how this whole thing is going down for A&M. Mazzone has been the one keeping communication with Stidham while Sumlin has never met with him. Meanwhile the whole time they are preaching to Mond he is THE guy. Just a crazy situation
As for bad news. 3* JUCO OL Jordan Agasiva released a top 3 of TCU, Oregon State & Utah. All 3 are recruiting him as OT. Appears we couldn't sell him on OG. Will be interesting to see who emerges as top priority for that 4th OL spot
