Yeah, no way Lane leaves for BR. Saban gave him a shot when he was toxic. O just putting on a front that he is trying to change their appearance.

Agreed but would be crazy if it went down

Apparently Fountain checked in with 4* Aubrey Solomon to see if AU still in it and he said they are. AU might visit in home next week if they feel he is genuine. Probably a longshot at this point but that's a change in tone from a few months ago

Random thought; who/where is that African we signed a few years ago? Broke his leg. He was a bust I assume.

Prince Tega Wanogho and no not a bust. Only a redshirt freshman and is backup RT. He will be in battle for RT spot next season

Prince Tega?

He's a RS FR and got bigger than expected so he's Oline now

That's him. I knew he moved to OL, just haven't seen him projected for next year.

247 update on Stidham at basketball game

The big news is he is staying the night. Original plan was to only do a day trip

Two SEC West teams go head to head for JUCO QB (SECCountry)

quote:

But according to 247Sports’ Taylor Hamm, Auburn’s staff has a great relationship with Stidham. He took an unofficial visit to Auburn on Tuesday. And while Hamm reported that Stidham has never met Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin in person, that visit reportedly is the third time Stidham has met Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn face to face.

“As it stands today, Auburn is the biggest threat to the Aggies to land Stidham,” Hamm reported Sunday.

Stidham’s relationship with Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee is reportedly very strong. That helps the Tigers. But Lashlee may look at possible head coaching positions this offseason, including the vacancy at Georgia State. If he moves on, that could push things in Texas A&M’s favor.

The Aggies also have to manage pursuing Stidham without worrying Mond and his family. Hamm reported that earlier reports about Texas A&M going after Stidham “really put the staff in a tough spot and concerned the Mond family.”

Someone needs to let Stidham know that Lashlee leaving is a good thing for him. Plus, Kendall Briles is on deck.

Lashlee won't throw Malzahn under the bus unless he has a chance to pull Stidham at his new place.

I'm not so sure any P5 school is going to hire a Briles anytime soon. Both Art and Kendall have some serious baggage right now. Not only due they have to answer to the sexual assault issues that took place at Baylor, but now Kendall is being questioned about recruiting infractions. I wouldn't be surprised if both just didn't coach for a few years and let all those dark clouds blow past, but I have a hard time believing any P5 team will go after either one for a couple years one way or another.

I think you underestimate how much some people want to win.

Baylor was okay letting rape get covered up if it meant winning football games

Seriously. $aban has Kiffin and Sarc on his staff right now. Is anyone saying anything about it? No, because they're winning!

Guy is an AHole, not a criminal. Why is it wrong to have him on staff?

Sarc

He is a $25k/yr off field analyst who likely would be canned if he relapsed.

There is nothing wrong with either guy being hired for the jobs they are in

I don't know what to say if you can't see the difference between what Kiffin/Sark did and what Briles did

Addiction issues are a disease not compromised morals. There is a risk in hiring Sark, but it is a relapse risk not character risk.

Sark having addiction issues isn't even close to being as bad as covering up rape.
