It's recruiting... it's understood to be fluid.
Even if we don't pull warrior, this is a pretty good sign of McGriffs abilities as a recruiter... bodes well for the future IMO.

I want to call BS as well because coaches knew about his 2nd visit and were still after him hard. Sounds like he decomitted during or right after his visit to UGA and someone is trying to save face.
Maybe we did drop him privately but this whole situation was handled poorly on our parts IMO

No, they're just tired of the bullshite.

If you're tired of the bullshite in recruiting then get out of coaching college football.
The fans can bad mouth him all they want but he's doing what's best for him and he hasn't hurt anybody so what's the problem? Pulling his offer does nothing and it's just sour grapes.

Yeah I don't believe that.

Unfortunately, I don't have our coaches number, so if you want to tell our coaches to man the frick up and put up with the diva bitch, try snail mail.

Really? I like coaches that take a stand and know when it's time to cut the line. I rather have that then go to a dance off when the decision was made and look like fools.
Coaches pull offers all the time by the way. Not sure why you're getting your arse so chapped for???

So No to Riley Cole? Even as a flyer/developmental prospect? We take him in this class redshirt and see what happens? We desperately need linebackers and being rejected by Bama may motivate this kid to prove a point

Was that Eddie Goldman's year?

Ronald Darby
Menelik Watson
Travis Blanks (to an extent)
The most glaring 1 I'm surprised left out of this discussion & has turned into a damn good football player is Kwon Alexander.

Guys also on our radar that at one point we thought we had a chance of being top group for

So we recruited up until the point where we're not really allowed to recruit him anymore (dead period) and suddenly we don't look like fools? I don't think we look like fools either way but whatever. Pulling his offer does nothing like I said. If our coaches are as petty as our fans about this stuff then yeah I'm pretty disappointed.

Not really. They pull offers of guys they don't want but there's no sense in pulling offers of guys you want. Like it or not, our coaches want Marshall.

Nigel Warrior is supposedly going to tell the staff's his intentions today, so if we see that Daniel Thomas has accepted an offer from Auburn then we know we're not getting Nigel.

Rhode Island graduate transfer Tyler Catalina visited Florida over the weekend. The left tackle’s next visit will be to Auburn.
Catalina, who started 33 games at tackle for the Rams, will visit Auburn on Feb. 19-21, according to his brother, Tony Catalina.
Tyler Catalina is a three-year starter at Rhode Island, playing the last two seasons at left tackle. He started all 12 games at right tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2013.
Catalina has visited Florida, Boston College and Iowa State. He has offers from Florida, Missouri, Arizona, Boston College and Iowa State, and interest from Auburn and Oregon, among others.
“He still has to discuss with the family what his next step is, but as of right now he still has a visit planned with Auburn,” Tony Catalina told InsideTheGators.com on Sunday. “We have no timetable as of now for a decision, but it's safe to say we'll know sooner than that.”
Tyler Catalina will have one year of eligibility. He is a graduate transfer and would not count towards a university’s football signing class maximum of 25.

Meh, I really don't care either way, but it is hardly an issue to go so postal over.
You seem rather edgy
Weagle till after signing day

These are the days that Keef and I love.
We will be at Sonic but only to film the carnage, and maybe help get things started in the right direction.

Ben Davis' recruitment has been wide open, IMO. We all assume he will go to Alabama because he is a legacy recruit, but he's been polite and gone about his recruitment the right way. He might pick Alabama in the end, but he seems to really like what Auburn is selling. I look forward to seeing him play wherever he chooses.

Yeah, we had a recruit who tattooed Auburn on his arm and still picked Bama. I have no delusions that a Bama legacy will be coming to the Plains.

Like it or not, our coaches wanted Marshall.
At some point, if the recruit continues to play games, it's time to let him go. The coaches probably told him that if he takes the second consecutive visit to Georgia, then his offer will be pulled. And who can blame the coaches? It's not like Marshall hasn't already decommitted before.
When Marshall re-committed, I was under the impression that Auburn gave him some contingencies such as no more playing games. Clearly Marshall hasn't stopped so the coaches can reserve the right to pull the scholarship.
Our hat will obviously still be on the damn table, and it will still look like a loss for Auburn from the ESPN talkingheads, so neither side is going to lose from this.
