Probably a good move for him. What little DL talent they have, only has one more year.

What happened to us using some 225 lb guys to really hunt the quarterbacks? Dee Ford played several years at the 230 range and was a damn good pass rusher when healthy, Groves wasn't much bigger (playing at the 240 range while at Auburn I think).

Supposedly Thomas was unbelievably quick off the line in a Dee Ford way despite being a little "chubby"
