Maybe if we can finish this season on a decent note and at least go to a bowl and finish 7-6 and White continues and the defense shows marginal improvement we can salvage this class.

There's a long way too go so things could definitely change but as this class projects right now we would finish 7th, 11th, 10th, 11th, 10th, & 13th in the last 6 composite team rankings since 247 started in 2010. We are also 9th in terms of quality per commit as well. While that's not the elite class fans want it is definitely not dumpster fire implied in the above post.

That's assuming we don't lose some key people in the class

That was implicitly covered in the Things could definitely change sentence.

Elite class

Personally tired of signing elite classes that don't pan out. I'll take an average class that is hungry and willing to compete over some of the dud pussies we have signed in the last few years.

But that's just me

Be interested to see if we adjust our LB #s if we get multiple guys wanting to sign with us

Don't think so. Not unless Tre Threat goes somewhere else anyway. Remember we only have 2 true LB positions for the most part. While the Buck is a hybrid I get the impression the staff counts them w/ the DLs.

We root for a school in Alabama, we need everything explained and for it to be understood at a 1st grade level

The problem is/was the lack of big time players we are still in on. Most of the schools around us are still in the mix for a lot of big time players. If we don't get Jackson and/or Davis we will have very few elite players in this class and we are in desperate need of those on both sides of the ball.

You can always move somewhere Gene. Not the first time I've seen you knock living in the Southeast.

It's a dumpster fire compared to the teams that are typically on our schedule year in and year out
