He's definitely maybe progressing and he's working really hard we definitely hope he continues to progress and if he does continue to progress then he definitely can possibly get in the rotation next year or the year after next year.
I thought I was reading a Phillip Marshall article for a second.

My real question is why no more Holland?
I could be wrong but I don't think he is a Buck type. Boom likes his Bucks to rush and be able to cover. As you noted, Holland is weak in coverage.

Shouldn't stop him from being a 3rd and long specialist to go after the QB.

We put Cass in as a pass rusher, I don't see why Holland couldn't do that too

Yet out of our top two Buck guys, Lawson is a traditional end with little experience in coverage, and Cass is pretty awful in coverage also.

leave it up to us to get the #1 player in the country and not develop him or have him reach potential

Because with Lawson out Cass is our best pass rusher... that's a scary thought. Cass has actually been really good at getting to/pressuring the QB, it's the other aspects that he falls short in.

what about Kennion, Harrell, Thornton,
I thought they were recruited as pass rushers. They must be bums?

I mean shite, give Daniel Pond a fricking chance. He cant be any worse.

Kennion is super athletic but he's also super weak. Coaches have said he needs to get stronger and he hasn't yet.

Harrell ??

Thorton was tiny coming out of HS then got sick had his appendix or something removed and lost all his gains.

Kennion - Decent pass rusher, horrible everything else
Karrell - The only man injured more frequently than Lawson
Thornton- Still only weighs like 225 after an entire RS S&C year. Supposedly appendix surgery screwed him

He's got a gnarly homeless man beard right now. He's a funny dude

Per his HC...AU leads for JUCO DE Paul James. His HC thinks it will come down to either AU or UF. Coach also said no one in their league could block James and called him a "monster"

Yeah, he's making some money right now. He's not up to Clay Matthews' standard, but he can play inside and outside. Clay Matthews does the same thing with Green Bay.

His lateral movement isn't that great, but he's good at taking on blocks and misses few tackles. He's a downhill type thumper with good size. He appears to struggle in coverage, but that isn't really his game. The chances of him getting drafted in the 3-7 range is pretty likely, IMO. He will need a good 40 yard dash.

Harrell wasnt ever supposed to be anything special. Low 3 star that no one talked up.

Kennion was a 3 star but everybody loved. Still pretty young and lacking some size. I'm pretty sure he's been getting playing time though.

Thornton was a project. Still way too small.

True but based on Spring the staff thought he would do ok in coverage. That's coming from our staff though so take it with a huge grain of salt.

Holland was a known liability in coverage out of HS.

1. Hasn't bulked up. 2. Stays hurt. 3. I'm not even sure he's been with the team much this year.

He said he thinks we are #1 not that we actually are. I swear whoever sums shite for you sucks arse in reading comprehension or summarization.

Other notes from the article

-HC called him a phenominal pass rusher
-expected to visit this weekend. It may be an official
-Despite whatever issues PJ had at Illinois he's not been a problem @ juco.
