At this point I'd take that.

I know this isn't fair because these two guys are pretty much as good as it gets in football but man it was a joy watching Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly play the LB position last night.

It would bring tears to my eyes to see guys making plays like that all over the field at AU again one day.

Absolutely. Thank God for the panthers.

One thing I was pretty consistently thinking about during that broadcast is how we don't have a star player on our team right now.

I added stars and points on previous page if someone can calculate that.

270.52 according to 247's class calculator

For reference, that's a top 10 class. That's like .20 points higher than last year's class

Cool. I think we'll sign more DTS than in listed but it will be guys we aren't on yet. So maybe replace Tre Nixon Kyle Davis or Eric Cuffee with more DTs. I think we can sign 24

Ron Rivera is lucky he can field such a good D because Mike Schula is doing his best to handcuff Cam

and for all of the crap our coaches catch for recruiting, we all know they usually have at least 2 highly rated guys we magically get in on late every year that we end up getting. If we can add a high 4* type or 2 we're in the top 10 no problem.

Really? His projection didn't seem like all that great of a class star wise.

If we signed 3 tall WRs, 7 DL, 4 LBs, and 3 Safeties, no severe projects, I wouldn't care what the rest composed of. Odds are at least 30% would pan out well at each position.

Holland looks like a Buck / End Rusher

That leaves us with Tre Williams and Darrell Williams to fill 3 spots
They like Holland at the Sam. We need 1 or 2 Bucks in this class.

UF's recruiting class is going to be absolutely filthy. They're in great shape to sign 3 5* WRs
There are only 3 5* WRs per the composite & Nate is the only 1 of the 3 they are recryuting.

Yes. That's a top 10 class for every year composite rankings. The 4*s we would get in this class are quite a bit higher than the ones from last year. Most of last years wer borderline 4*sx.

There is a huge gap between spots 1-5 and say 7-10. Sometimes it is hard to remember that not all teams get ten 5*s and exclusively 4*s

That's not hard to remember. We've never done that and we've had a ton of top 10 classes.

I think one of the best attributes those 2 have is their football IQ. They just get it and know where to be instinctively. I can't really say many people in our defense have a high football IQ. They always seem to recognize what's happening when it's too late. The only guy I can say understands the game is Carlton Davis.
