Heard like thirdhand, so take it for what it's worth (which is nothing), but apparently some of the recruits were pulling for Jack State by the end of the game
ETA: Heard a guy in my 8:00 class talk about hearing that from a friend of his who is a Tigerette. Not the most direct line of communication

Anyone else thinking we should start looking at JUCO QBs? If Gus is so against putting White in the game then he must not be very impressive.
Well, per Rivals:
East Mississippi dual-threat quarterback John Franklin III who is 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds. Former FSU QB, played in 2 games for them. Has two years remaining... DQ recruited him to FSU, no official offer yet.

Saw this on Twitter, glad it's not the ex-FSU QB who punched that girl.

We're recruiting him due to Tyler Queen's injury.

We need to take another qb regardless. Queen would have beat out White IMO if not for the injury.

Anybody know if we're in on Trey Sermon in 2017, RB from Marietta?
Posted on 9/14/15 at 7:44 pm to RandySavage
Yes I believe he's our top rb target and thought to be an AU lean.

I'm not too far from Sprayberry but the Rochester situation me gun shy, I think I'll sit this one out.

Please do!!! Thanks in advance

Think it's time our coaches put their 2016 recruit relationship building aside, use their time to coach up the bad technique out of our DTs and Safeties and start really focusing on those 2017 kids.

We said same thing last year. We were supposed to be stacked with 2016 kids specially DTs

per our resident insider, LB7 (who does happen to live in Gordo and knows the Davis family extremely well):
Ben loves Auburn. We are his current leader and I believe if today were signing today, he would WANT to sign with us, but it will be difficult for him to actually sign with us. Not just because he is a legacy, but his father is the all time leading tackler there.
Gus and LT were in Gordo Friday morning and Coach Thompson stayed for the game. Even though they could not talk to Ben, it meant a lot they were here. Coach Sherrer from Uga was here for the game, also.

Love to hear that but I don't believe a word of it.

LB7 is one guy you can believe. Especially w/ regards to Davis. But LB7 isn't a "look at what I know" insider.
What he said actually seems completely believable to me. I think we've done an excellent job recruiting Davis, but I mean really...his dad is the all-time leading tackler at the state school. It's a tough pull. LB7 said that his dad is a great man and open to letting him do whatever he wants, but we all know a piece of him on the inside wants his son to follow in his footsteps.

I have no issue with any of that. It is just difficult to believe we have a snowball's chance in hell.

I think the post says that though.
Basically says we have played our cards perfectly and still likely lose out

So we moved on from "character issues" and "not a good fit" to "he wanted to come here but couldn't"
I kid I kid.....
But seriously, we have O chance and never did. Glad we he likes us though. He's a good kid Allie and others have said before that he's always a pleasure to interview.
He would start day 1 at AU :(

I'm not saying he "wants" to come here, just that outside of his connection to UA, we would have a legit shot.
Pretty clear we have done our side of the process nearly perfectly if this story is accurate. Overcoming a legacy though is a tough uphill battle

I've actually heard from several people who have watched him play in games that mentioned him as, athletically being a 5* but he isn't a Tre Lamar type of guy that just LOVES contact. He's more of a finesse, space LB right now. I still think he could contribute right away, but I don't think he'd start. All that being said, you take guys like Davis that are as physically gifted as he is ALLLLLL DAY.

I'm just glad we are doing that with guys like Stephen Davis Jr.....

So he is Kris Frost?

Hard to imagine he would supplant BOTH Tre Williams and Darrell Williams who have had game experience for Tre and lots of early praise for DWill
