Lambert struggled a lot with that. Also President got schooled back to back on that first TD. He got sucked in on the first one. Then plays it perfectly next & Jackson makes one move & is by him for the TD. So frustrating...

he seems like a great kid, but President isn't an SEC caliber DE. He really doesn't have any business playing in our defense.

Marshall was insane at being wrapped up and staying on his feet/breaking "sure sacks"

Only one former Auburn quarterback better at doing that than Marshall, IMO.

You know who I'm talking about.

Ya he is solid at basic run defense but is no threat as a pass rusher & struggles in space. If Lawson stays healthy then we shouldn't need him moving forward. Like you said, seems like a great kid just isn't up to snuff for SEC

Our DE's sucked at sealing the ends.
This was the main problem. Not the LB play as stated earlier. For a running qb like Jackson, you either have to string him out to the sideline which acts as another defender or force him into the middle of the defense where you have greater numbers. The DEs did neither.

Happens every time. President has one move: Run up field past the play, hunched over with his long arse arms dangling at his side, stutter steps, then breaks to the outside after the RB. Every. Damn. Time.

Kyle Davis on his way to Auburn. Per E on Twitter, it's a good sign KD chose us over UT/OU.

Good luck UGA and UT should be a good battle between you guys. Beware though Davis may have caught the AIDS if he was in Auburn today.

Is there a Paypal account for the Auburn Bagman?

I'm ready to make a contribution.

Anyone else thinking we should start looking at JUCO QBs? If Gus is so against putting White in the game then he must not be very impressive.

This was exactly my thought driving back from the game.

They've certainly worked out well for us in the past, I think we can now say that Gus is no QB guru.

I think we would be more effective at this point if we used JJ like Cam. So he's not as suited for the power runs, but we're already a one-read passing offense. There's no way we stay on the field against UGA, Bama, A&M and maybe OM (God that's painful to type) unless there is a possibility of the QB keeping the ball.

Thankfully our 2016 and 2017 commits are DT guys.
