Bentley would scare me just bc his dad could get a decent on-field coaching position in the next year or two.

Bentley and his family loves Auburn and the coaching staff there. He would go to AU even if his dad gets a position elsewhere

Just got to remember that his dad likely gets a position job then hops somewhere else for a bump up down the road. His next job isn't the top of the ladder so doens't make sense to follow him

Why? Kid is a stud and has an absolute cannon for an arm and extremely accurate.

The kid is damn good. He's a top AU target for 2017. He's a high 4* all on what he did in 9th grade and the camp circuit the past 2 years. He should have a great couple of seasons at Opelika. I don't know how he did but he was so well thought of he was invited and went to the Rivals 5* challenge.

I watched QUinnen William's film, he seems like a good fit for Bama. At least a better fit for Bama than what we are trying to do

From what I've read yes. Q has rarely talked to AU the past month + and the staff is not happy about it.

I am so disappoint...

AU96 has this as his avi and had it through CAMGate. Cracks me up every time I see it. However, it wasn't till I saw this bigger photo that I realized he was flipping everyone off.

I know he is very good, I guess NM's mobility spoiled me. Combine that with flashback nightmares of Clint Moseley being a tacking dummy in the pocket has me nervous about putting our offense in the hands of someone that runs like Payton Manning.

I guess scrambling isn't necessary when you can throw darts though..

Clint Mosley got beat out by a FR QB 2* that wasn't good enough to be "SEC quality backup" at QB.

Chris Todd could barely throw and wasn't mobile and he did alright. Bentley would be a stud if he can just be mobile enough to run the read option.

Far more important in Gus's offense for the QB to be able to complete passes downfield than be able to run well. Need to be able to keep the LBs and safeties back to open up all the run plays. Just need a QB that's capable of doing the occasional run in the read option to keep them honest as far as scrambling goes.

I'm guessing you haven't watched his film? He's a pretty good athlete (the first play of his HUDL video is him running it in from the 15, splitting defenders into the endzone)

Lol. You have not looked into Jake much have you? I'm not sure how he is now but before he hurt his legs his 9th grade year he was very athletic. If he gets close to that form Gus will have whatever run option that is best for him in the offense. Jake will not be a statue in the pocket QB.
