What is it with UGA and recruiting recently? I know they have always recruited well, but it has gone to a new level. I really thought with Gus, Craig, Garner, and now Muschamp we would have to turn kids away. Sure we lose a lot to bama, but now we seem to lose most head to head with uga, and even Tenn. Maybe I am to negative but it seems concerning.

He is pretty good, I don't think anyone argues that. With talent, I trust that he can field a good and occasionally great DL. What he isn't though is a top 3 DL coach who also can recruit on a DCraig level.
Rocker is probably better than Garner, but if we were to get Rocker tomorrow, our DL play likely wouldn't be meaningfully different

I said he was only "pretty good" as an acceptable for a top school but by no means highly sought after

If you are suggesting someone saying "damn good" is on par with "pretty good" you are insane. For example, I've never heard someone talk about "damn good" food who meant it was just above average to pretty good.
ETA: To make a point, I imagine if AU would need a new DL coach and had our pick of ANYONE at CFB level, AUCE05 would be excited if we chose Rocker. Which would suggest in AUCE05's mind he is a top/elite CFB DL coach
