Tyler Clark is now a #Georgia commit

If I had to concede one of GA's 4* DT's to uGA, I guess it would be him.
Jackson is better IMO, but make no mistake, Clark has all the tools to develop into a very good player. I would have taken him in a heartbeat.

BCW isn't really set up for kids to talk up other schools at AUs expense.
They separate the kids into small groups, pretty much have a coach with them the entire time and the activities are "goofy" fun. When you are playing games where you try and twerk ping pong balls out of a container attached to your butt, bringing up how much you love UGA is out of left field

I only have a problem rejecting a legacy if we are doing it for a coin flip guy down the road
We rejected GG Robinson because we thought we were getting CeCe Jefferson. It seemed pretty obvious that wasn't happening so why?
I'm not all burned up by that but it shows what we do consistently. We are overly optimistic and burns us each time

Is there any logical reason why we are so far behind on commits right now?
Not trying to be a dick but whats the deal?

We're Auburn. We start slow and finish strong

Hope that is the deal Rig. We are down on commits. It always makes you feel uneasy when all these good players get taken off the board and we are falling like a rock.
No panic. Just discussion

quote:Just speaking purely # of commits wise we are only significantly behind 10 or 11 teams that have double digit commits. The rest are in the ball park w/ us. On the slowness of things I think things are slow on D because the majority of the board on defensive recruits has changed or shifted a great deal. There are people close to the program that say Boom wondered if we even had a recruiting board on D when he got here.

Muschamp is filling up the funnel again after wiping the slate clean do to proper fit and ability. He wants to make sure we don't have any further turnover. At least that is what he told Keef..

Would it be safe to say that Georgia is taking us to the woodshed right now in D recruiting? Do you see Pruitt completely shutting that state down?

quote:In Georgia w/ their in state DL recruits, no question about it. Thankfully for us this is a very deep talent pool for a DL class so we can go to other states & areas. Davidson & Antwuan are a must. After that if we can get 3 or 4 more quality guys it will be a good DL class even if we only land 2 from Georgia.

Texas freshman offensive guard Darius James is transferring to Auburn. He was the #1 OG in the nation two cycles ago.

So, he'll redshirt in 2015... then have two to play two, I'm guessing?
Kinda like signing a juco OL in the 16 class....
