KN says that they haven't been able to confirm this commitment (yet) but does state that Thompson was at the kid's school today.

Is she 6-5 250 with a quick first step?

quote:That's really not very good, but he shouldn't need much more to qualify. Just needs to take it as many times as possible between now and whenever the cutoff is until he gets a score that'll work.
It went on to say he scored a 17 on the ACT.

If you spend about 1 week to go over ACT testing tips and the kid can memorize vocab, grammar rules and basic math you should be able to get a 28-30 without much work.

I think people who do not have any experience with inner city schools have very little concept of what a disadvantage it is to take the ACT. For years, we hammered test prep on the AHSGE, which is a completely different type of test. We never spent anytime on test taking tips that could easily raise an ACT Score 2-3 points. We stressed and repeated only academic criteria that was set at the start of the 11th grade --- because that was what the AHSGE was based on. Every science class regurgitated Biology, because that was the AHSGE.
I hope that is changing now that the exam is gone, but teachers can become creatures of habit. Once ACT scores are quantified for determining Passing/Failing scores, expect city schools ACT scores to rise rather dramatically.

His bench press is pretty underwhelming at 295 when he weighs 265.

Princeton Review does excellent test taking materials. Some of the ways they get insight is unethical, but with high stakes testing, you should never carry a knife to a gun fight.

Frick It! Jonesy's right (Asian's usually are). Weagle25 when you get a chance link the OP of the Big Boom thread into one of your first 2 posts here so readers have a quick reference point to the list and everything subsequently about Big Boom will be posted here. It'as about what's most convenient to the readers and Boom weekend stuff here would be the most convenient.
And the rest of y'all nerds please stop talking ACT stuff.
