As good a Cam is, and even with all those wonderful numbers that joey gave us, he's still got a ways to go to live up to the #1 pick.
He's set a ridiculously stupid amount of NFL records as a QB. Thrown for over 4k yards several times. 2 Pro Bowls and Rookie of the Year. Pretty decent, no?

I would reply, but E might be mean to me again.
We really do need to stop. Start a thread away from here if y'all want to keep trying to make your futile points.

Eagles Landing does Crossfit football workouts
How is this necessarily a benefit?
Crossfit is all about coaching. I'd rather have someone slamming PR's on the same compound lifts over and over rather than thinking they are hot shite because they have a flashy workout. Too easy to resort to poor form when you are on a timed workout. Is this a trend in high school/college workout programs?
No, I do not have a high opinion of Crossfit.

Since he's been at Auburn, Gus has developed Chris Todd, Cam Newton, and Nick Marshall successfully. So yes he's already done it. You can't just attribute Newton and Marshall's development to their athletic ability because that has nothing to do with developing as a QB.
I like the fact that he points out that Cam and Nick only got better because of their athletic ability.
But then he doesn't want Gibson because, you know, he isn't a good QB and only has TONS of athletic ability.

Yeah, people forget Cam was not special the first 3-4 games of that season. The MSU game was hard to watch.
That TD pass to DA was a damn bullet though.

But Cam won the Heisman because his running and TDs, Auburn winning, and his badassery. His throwing was sort of middling.
Didn't Cam set a record (or come damn near) for NCAA passing efficiency in a season?

The style of working out is similar to what Ryan Russell does so Andrew Williams should be comfortable.
Coach who runs their S&C program at EL has gone a few times to the Crossfit Games in Masters Division/ knows what he is doing

CrossFit, like any workout with heavy weights, requires excellent instruction and monitoring. If your "coaches"/trainers do not do their job, CrossFit and any other heavy lifting program is incredibly dangerous
Considering that about 75% of CrossFit Football type workouts are based around compound lifts like you wanted, not sure what you are getting at. Most guys, especially football players have form problems even when they aren't timed
Go to the REC at Auburn and look at the people in there, 95% of the people don't know WTF they are doing in terms of form and are on the verge of being seriously hurt when lifting weights. That is without "timed workouts"

the basic idea of crossfit (combining strength training with speed) seems to fit well with a college football S&C program. I'm sure the stuff auburn does in its workouts falls somewhere between traditional lifting and the stuff the morons are doing at your local box.
besides, andrew williams looks ready for the SEC right now... he's only going to continue to develop from here on out.

We've gotten 5 Crystal Balls today for Darrell Williams, including Charles Power, JC Shurburtt and Shannon Terry. What gives? Why so many picks today?

Would fap. He has a great frame to put on good size. I could see him playing DE or OLB

I know someone who was involved with his recruitment. He felt disrespected early from Bama since they had no contact with him through the fall. Grew up a huge Bama fan though. He liked AU but person I know thought AU was only in it in case Bama didn't pull trigger
