Per AUC LINK

-Staff expects Kerryon Johnson to visit soon

-Still pursuing 5* ATH Terry Godwin and staff believe a flip down the line from UGA is possible. He's the #1 CB on the staff's board and high on the board at WR so they are recruiting him as an ATH.

-TE Bowman Archibald is close to being a take for AU

-Natrez Patrick is #1 on the staff's DE board. Top 3 in alphabetical order are bama, AU, UGA.

I hope we don't take his commitment this early. There are a ton of highly rated dbs this year. I hope the coaches wait and see who else shows interest as the season gets closer. We need to do a "non-committable" offer like bama

I'm not too sure this dude couldn't be a stud LB. Especially in Bama's system where the LBs play up to the line and come off the edge. I wan't him in O&B

Colbert is a take. He's high on the coaches board.

You know we give out non-committable offers all the time right? Along with every other school in the country. Don't see how that got associated with Bama.

Agreed. We have over 120 known offers out right now in the 2015 class. My best guess right now are only 30-35 of those are commitable today. That's not saying we would take 30-35. We simply can't. It's say where things are right now 30-35 individual kids could commit today if they wanted to IMO.

Hearing LB Richard McBryde from Alabama is leaning towards #Auburn despite growing up a #Bama fan.

We assumed he is leaning our way, but still good to see a national guy tweet it.

Very good athlete. Legacy. I don't think there's anyone here that doesn't want him.

Rodney wants this kid bad, doesn't he? He made his presence known at one of his playoff games, iirc.

This is how everyone does it.

It's basically like dating. They offer them, and that's the first date. If the kid is interested, we may take him out to more dates that eventually end up with heavy petting, etc. - visits to campus. If we're both ready to take the next step, we'll let him know he can commit at any point - that's when the ring goes on the finger. Then the LOI is the wedding.

And of course, getting processed is a divorce.

And you feel dirty when you give it up on prom night, just for them to marry someone else.

Elijah Daniel has to be on steroids. He looks like he is going to tip the scales at about 290-300 and is built like a brick not a marshmallow

I am excited about Adams but I think Daniel is our best DT next year

Wait we're moving Daniel to DT? Seems like he'd get more use at DE. We already have Gabe, Bradley, and Adams at DT. We only have Lawson and Owens at DE. At least that are proven.

daniel played inside a good bit last year in passing situations... don't think it's a stretch that he'll grow into an every down DT down the road (if not already). Dude has the kinda frame to carry weight pretty effortlessly.

Besides, EJ seems to favor speed rushers at DE... it's why ford has such a great year and lawson showed signs as well.

The plan was always to move ED to DT if he grew into it.

So who do we have that's ready to play at DE?

Lawson
Owens
Lambert

Is that it? Can't think of anyone else. Is Andrew Williams an immediate contributor?
