Just out of curiosity, why would we not target a big boddied reiceiver? If there were a 6'5 guy who was a lower rated receiver due to speed or something like that why not target him if he has good hands and runs crisp routes?

Edit: I mean as an alternative to going after TEs

Seems to work for them. See Demariyus Thomas and Calvin Johnson.

I'd actually love to hire their WR coach if Craig were ever to leave or move to QB coach.

He made some racists comments about the shooting.

McGriff basically is recruited for that role from what I understood
Recruited as a WR that could also be used as a TE or HB.

Good question. A lot of us wanted the staff to offer De'Runnya Wilson, but for some unknown reason we passed.

Racist comment. While it definitely was wrong and deserved a timeout, I don't think it fell in the category reserved for permanent suspension.

I agreed wholeheartedly about Wilson. I was doing plenty of lurkin at that time and never understood why we didn't pursue him harder.

The chances of a 6'5 guy with that skill set being lower rated are very very long

We didn't pass on him, he passed on us. He grew up and bama fan and said there's no way he'd play for Auburn, so he went to Miss St. That came straight from his mouth.

He's a little short to play TE isn't he? I believe he's only 6'2 or so. I fogured we'd want someone at least 6'4 there.

frick you too. It's true there are a lot of tornadoes in Tuscaloosa. Is it out of line for saying something that's true? And I was commenting on someone's stupid comment about being worried about these shootings affecting recruiting.

Sometimes it is just best to say nothing and let the conversation move on.

There's not even a lot of them, you should probably realize how stupid you sound.
