Whatever Saban and co are selling that kid, I'd like some of it.

Saban is the GOAT. He made Brent Calloway believe he would be a RB. Made Josh Casher believe he would be a guard. Made RF believe he'd play early. Made Dee Hart believe he would play RB at 6" 180lbs

ETA: I mentioned weeks ago that when Jaquez Patrick picks FSU Bama is going to turn the heat up on Jovon Robinson.

and not that this necessarily belongs here, but I saw yesterday where Dee Hart is transferring to Colorado St to be with his old OC. Let the season of processing commence.

are people seriously believing that there's any shot that Bama can take Jovon? That is one dude that LOVES Auburn. People will seriously believe anything.

When it comes to recruiting, I've been convinced that Saban can pull off just about anything. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't end up at Auburn, but Saban would process a kid to get Jovon, just so he wouldn't end up at Auburn.

maybe under Chizik, but Malzahn and Co. have proven to be able to sniff out that sort of thing and nip it in the bud right away. Also, we actually have a product worth selling head to head with them now. Time to grow a pair and realize that Saban is the one that should be worried.

From Keith Niebuhr:
quote:

A person extremely close to Robinson's recruitment told AUC this afternoon that Robinson, in response to that story, told this person that. ...

1. He ia 100% to Auburn
2. He hasn't spoken to that 7-on-7 coach referred to earlier in "three years."

Jovon has already practiced with this team once before.

RF didn't love AU. He loved Trooper. Should've been a tat of a backwards hat and towel.

And he committed to us again over Bama, and he definitely could have committed to Bama anytime he wanted this cycle

And now Jovon speaks (regarding former coach):
quote:

"I have no idea what he's talking about," Robinson said. "I haven't spoken to that guy in at least three years, maybe four."

He was all up on Bama's jock till we entered back into the fold. I don't know how after him completely dumping a commitable offer for us after a week of our recruitment he is open game.

FTR, this is Bryan DeVinner we are talking about. He is just trying to soak up some publicity since he got Rico's Mom to make him flip. I doubt after what happened I in 2012 that JR ever speaks to him.

If it was really De'Vinner we are quoting here, then there is nothing to worry about. TrollTyde has more cred than that fatass.
