247 has had some risers. A couple a blurbs about a couple of them below, a little bit of info on where these kids are at ATM.
Seems logical Roquan would now be pursued as a star but someone somewhere recently said he's being recruited as plain ol LB. Film says star.
Torrance is being recruited for his awesomeness.
Rhett visited Lodge, who's fracking fantastic, but a long shot apparently. Gus has a history at Cedar Hill having recruited QB Damion Hobbs to ArkSt. (ended up at Oregon after Gus left), so maybe he's got a good thing with the coach. He's great with the HS coaches, we know that.
Noticed also that Jarrett Stidham is up 9 to 37. Chad Morris was at Stephenville when he begged Gus for his offense, and in looking the film it doesn't seem like a whole lot has changed. Kid would transition seamlessly at Auburn.
Art Briles was a legend at Stephenville before Morris and he might end up getting this kid. Him or TTech.

Stidham has a lot of upside. He's actually played very little QB as I believe was a WR in his first year or two of HS.
He's also from Kentucky originally and there is talk that he would be perfectly fine with leaving the state of Texas, although Texas Tech/Taylor do look good early.

Are we just not comfortable with Queen at QB? Next year you'd have a QB roster of JJ, White, and Queen plus whatever scrub walkons there might be. That's three highly capable kids at QB.

Gus wants 3 QBs out of the '14/'15 classes. Missed on Treon, so now Queen gets a QB classmate. Queen's a gamer, though. He's a football player.

4 QBs is always the ideal number.
Plus you don't pass on Gibson even if we had 7 QBs.

And he said he was alright with this. One or both likely RS their frosh year and if the the guy in his class with him is so good as to beat him out, he likely goes pro after 3 and Queen gets Jr/Sr year
