Wasn't Anthony jeter the alleged bammer homer all kinds of people were up in arms about after Evans chose Alabama?
inappropriate time to bring that up IMO. The man just passed away.

what he did to got the D Line just to be mediocre against the run given the chitty schemes Chiz forced the defensive staff to use is nothing short of miraculous.
The DL was atrocious in 2009. I'm not sure why people choose to ignore that fact.

One good year out of a decade of coaching doesn't make him great... he was painfully mediocre in his three years with the titans... same goes for his time at arkansas.

Did not ignore it, just forgot he was the coach.

I was about to say...Rock was not DL coach at AU for a decade. ...But yeah looking at his work at Arky and Ole Miss my OP was absurd.

So when the DL is bad it's not his fault but when it's good he gets credit.

Sweet double standard

Edited my post Joey. I realized I was wrong as I admitted to spark. No double standard. Just listened to too much AE/AUF sunshine back then.

I wasn't saying it to be insensitive. I was just trying to figure out who the guy was. Thus the use of the term alleged

Dear lord no, Tracy Rocker isn't a top 5 DL coach... Top 5 in the SEC maybe.

Sorry, I disagree. He is one of the very best DL coached in the nation. Our DL improved drastically when he became our DL coach.

Lead widened for Colbert today. Says we are slowly and surely increasing our lead.

We officially lead for Darrell Williams now too.

I agree. No idea if he is Top 5, but the people I have talked to that would know say he gets the best out of what he had. His thing is that he hates recruiting off campus.

Improved how exactly. The 09 she was very weak compared to the 08 line. 2010 was great due to a 1st round talent and 5 other seniors (including another dray pick in Zac Clayton).

Now the dline did fall apart in 2011, mostly due to inexperience. The two starting dts had a combined 13 career tackles, the two back dt were true freshmen.

Well all those guys were there in 2009. And they didn't magically get more talented in a year. So you have to give him at least some credit for that:

Man I want to sign this kid bad. He could do so much in EJ's defense

He was not the main culprit but he definitely liked Bama per someone at AHS I trust. Biggest outside the fam influence was Troop.

How weird does it feel to have Hoover and Prattville players on the team...at the same time?! We got Denson and D-Mon now. Pettway hopefully coming in and lead for Williams. Is this the twilight zone?

Christopher Nee (Florida State writer), Brian F. McLaughlin (name is legit), and Jeramiah Sharpe have all predicted Jovon Robinson to Auburn in the latest Crystal Ball updates.

Alabama at 67%, Auburn at 33%. Auburn is climbing.

Wonder how long the pachyderm media boys will hold out? They have no doubt gotten the same information we have.
