My bad. That was McGriff. So much to read and so many battles with FSU I got confused.

TT, do you think Kerryon is a BOOM RB?

I do. In the sense of him being a player, and in the sense of us possibly taking him away from both Alabama and Florida State. Is it weird that both of our top running back prospects have us in the top 3, with Alabama and Florida State? And we have a chance to land both. Would be huge.

If FSU was making kj a priority this likely would be different.

Who is FSU's top running back prospect on their board because didn't they just lose their 1 and 2 backs?

Any of the 3 would be a good choice for a RB, with Auburn being the best choice, of course. Doy.

Somebody, awhile back, compared KJ to Marcus Allen. And I thought that that wasn't a bad comparison, running style-wise. He's the Alabama 3A's version of Marcus Allen. Question is, will he look like MA in the SEC?

FSU's main target if JPatrick.

Jaques Patrick, Jordan Scarlett (Sean White's High School teammate), Jovon, and Johnny Frasier are all ahead of Kerryon on the FSU RB board. They are taking 2. All per FSU 247.

He is in no way close to Marcus Lattimore. KJ is maybe 5'8 and not as strong.

Our staff has him as No. 1 RB so I would say that's a yes. Even if you have a different opinion on him, you have to like it when our staff gets who they want.

I didn't mean he looks like Lattimore

He's a long strider gets north and south quick and has that over exaggerated hard jab step just like Lattimore

Yeah, absolutely. But that's not to say I absolutely believe that they believe he's the best RB they could get. Or even that they'd keep him at RB if he signs with us. Kerryon is a highly-rated, high-profile, talented in-state prospect. There's no downside to getting this kid.

Per Hoke Jauan Jennings made it to AU yesterday but left early because his father was not feeling well. Also McGriff will be back for A-Day.

Another little bit on Jordan Colbert, from Clemson Rivals:
quote:

Auburn has emerged as the early frontrunner, and it will be his destination [for Auburn's] spring game slate.
...ranked Clemson second on his list, followed by Tennessee and then FSU.

quote:

"My mom loved [Clemson]," he said. "... nice facilities. The coaches are really cool. They showed us what they're going to do reconstruction-wise, with the mini-golf, laser tag and all that."
Seriously? Not surprised, but seriously?

Per Allie Colbert, Roundtree and Roquan have talked about playing together in college. AU is the 1 school all 3 like. All 3 plan to be at A-Day.

Given the depth issues we apparently have at DE we need that guy to give quality snaps early.

Per his coach via AUC 4* OLB Joshua McMillon like AU a lot.

E, did JJennings sneak out of town or what yesterday? Haven't heard word one about his visit, and now he's in B'ham where KN says he might interview him. Was he even in Auburn yesterday?
