TJ Lang and Bryce Brown have both practiced this week and are expected to play in the exhibition game Thursday night.

The move was because of injuries but it kind of opened Pearls eyes up to the possibility of keeping him there. Canty even came to pearl and told him Granger was the best on ball defender besides Tahj.
Now whether he plays like that in a game is yet to be seen. And that's what pearl wants to see if he can defend out there.

kinda shocked hearing how well Granger is on d. I thought Lang was the best on ball defender we had.

More to do with Grangers length makes is really hard to get by him. He isn't super quick so he won't recover well though
Lang has a lot higher ceiling but he is a SO who is learning to be thT type of D player compared to SR Granger with longer arms

If we had the depth, I wouldn't want him on the team. As it stands, with injuries already wreaking havoc on the 3 + size issues, I'm glad we have Granger

Granger isn't some elite talent and has a track record of technical fouls/fights. Don't know why anyone would want him on the team.
Honestly, it is less of the picking fights/tech fouls and more that he picks a fight and runs. I can get on board with a fighter, not on child throwing temper tantrums

Last year, I was somewhat pro Granger as a role player. He has skills to offer the team and still think he can make a positive contribution
Things that bug me about Granger
1- He is prone to bonehead plays
2- He is prone to technicals and causing fights
3- He embarrasses Auburn by running from said fights
4- He runs really awkwardly and makes me cringe when I watch
Honestly though? It really is #4. I can't help but think he shouldn't be out there when he gallops up the court barely feets looking like he is about to trip

Well that sure doesn't make it look like it will be. E said somewhere that it will be on the ESPN App if it's not on the SEC+.

The Auburntigers.com shows radio only on the calendar of basketball games. Shows ESPN, etc when TV is available for other games(ie the upcoming game against Colorado)
