Any idea what that means for us?
It depends on how many CBs Bama takes and if indeed Roberts' Bama offer is committable right now.

Didn't KK say that instate offers are almost always committable?

We can't afford to go 3-9 when Bama is playing this well. We have a hard enough time as it is in state.

Yes but it can't be taken as a blanket statement, especially when you look at all the CBs Bama is in good shape with.

Yeah. Unless you have GREAT rapport already built and have a solid line of communication with the kid, in state schools almost never give non-committable offers because they worry about hurting the pipeline by screwing over the kid.

Looks like we're no longer in the top 2 for Nick Chubb. Doesn't matter too much I knew we wouldn't get him.

There always is late bloomers with RBs too. All you need is a 2000 yard season in a good classification and you are a fringe 5 star at the end of the recruiting cycle

Peyton Barber fits that mold. Of course, he was hindered by an injury his junior year, but the same basic concept you're talking about applies. We'll be fine at RB. There are plenty of positions to worry about, and that is not one of them. That might be the only position that Auburn always seems to "get ours" on a yearly basis.

We've cooled off with RB Adam Choice too. Not sure if that was from his side or the coaches side.
