AUC is saying Eric Swinney/4* 2015 RB Sandy Creek HS, GA is coming to IB. This is my favorite RB for 2015 along with Jordan Scarlet of course. Last year he trucked Vonn Bell as a SO. He has legit 4.4 speed and runs with a lot of power as well. Likes AU, UGA, UTk etc.

Per BOL, SDH signed financial papers with Bama on LSU weekend. He says he will UOV the Iron Bowl but is a hard commit to Bama and will not take any OVs.

In case some of you don't know about prospects signing Financial papers EEs can sign a financial agreement with schools. It doesn't bind them to the school, but does allow the school to have unlimited contact with the kid and publicize his name. Bama can openly promote that he signed financial agreement. Again, though, it does not bind a kid to a school.

what does financial papers mean when it comes to this stuff? Pell grants and financial aid?

I thought I read that doing this binds the school to the prospect but not the prospect to the school?

If he is just UOVing the Iron Bowl to watch Alabama play then I'd tell him kindly to go screw himself. He can go buy his own damn ticket.

Treating a kid well, even a clearcut bama commit who (SDH doesn't but just saying) may talk trash about you is worth giving tickets to just to be classy. You screw him over and the coaches feel that way, future kids from the HS will be steered away

It sucks but you got to be nice to everyone even the dildo harnesses

SDH seems like a good kid. However, he is letting the wrong people guide him. I believe that if he was able to decide on his own he would pick AU. JMO.

Considering the calibre of LBs that program has produced over the last several years, who can blame him? Sure, depth is an issue, but it would be an issue here as well... Remember we only have two LB spots and will return two starters who both have multiple years if eligibility left.

I'd love to have Hamilton. He's an EE who could possibly crack our two deep by fall. Looks like its not gonna happen though.

In no way do i feel SDH could crack our 2 deep next year. Frost and Tre Williams will both be well ahead of him. So will Swain. McKinzy, Garrett. Mitchell.

FWIW Hoke has known about SDH signing papers with Bama but still feels Auburn is in good shape with him.

SDH told Bone yesterday or the day before that he is 100% committed to Bama.

I think the reason Hoke feels good is because Bama isn't 100% committed to SDH.

I feel the same way. I also can't imagine a situation where Cass and Frost won't be significantly improved. Not sold on Tre Williams as a true freshman starting.

I am sold on Justin Garrett wherever he is playing. Kid is a baller and significantly improved our D when he came in at LB despite not playing there all spring/fall

Yeah, I don't see that at all barring massive injuries.

If he can stay healthy. He has struggled with injuries his entire time at AU IIRC. He does play that STAR very well and him being there could allow us to put others in their natutal position.

I said 'could possibly' bc he is an EE. Williams won't enroll until the summer, so it's not out of the realm of possibility a guy like SDH could be ahead of him on the depth chart... Even tho physically TW is ahead of him.

Only three lbs will be here this spring who have had significant snaps... and only one is a true middle backer -- frost. Toney could end up as frosts backup in spring. We'll see.

Honestly, I hope not...

Watching him on film, he reminds me of a very poor man's Josh Bynes. Solid player and leader with a great attitude, but his physical limitations (slow) will keep him from ever being the type of game changing player. I don't ever really expect much out of him, expecially with Tre' Williams coming in. I hope I'm wrong, FWIW.

I have never seen it said this way but national 247 reporter Ryan Bartow said Auburn continues to be the team to beat for Andrew Williams. LINK 2/3s down the page for those with a 247 sub. If true then

Some of the actions that our coaches have taken in the past tell me they will body slam SDH if he looks to be playing them. I think these coaches will do what is right for the team and the recruiting class.
