The QB we offered before Sean White.

I don't think a financial aid agreement is binding for the recruit/athlete. He can still sign his LOI to another school. It just binds LSU to give him a scholly. This happened last cycle with an LSU/Bama recruit I think

Everything you posted is true except the last part. It didn't happen with a recruit last cycle because it's a new rule that didn't come into effect until recently.

My bad. I was thinking of the Brandon Hill situation. It was a Bama/OM thing. Different circumstance...he was a prep school recruit

Thanks E, I had completely moved on from him after Sean committed.

Anyone remember Ahmad Dixon that went to Baylor? He is dominating so far this half against OU.

Yeah, IIRC, we passed on him for some reason (can't remember why).

He also got chewed out after trying to hype the crowd during a 4th down.

He wasn't even paying attention when Oklahoma snapped the ball.

The coach was probably still pretty pissed about the 30 yards of personal foul penalties he racked up to allow them to get that deep in the first place.

247:
-David Sharpe: don't know if we have a shot yet. Trying to get him to visit. His Dad thought it was a 9 hour drive to Auburn from Jacksonville, now knows it's more like 5 hours. Making it closer to home than UGA which is a positive.

-JUCO T Prestwood not so hot on Auburn anymore. Looks like FSU.

-Staff still cautiously optimistic about D Williams. Will likely visit Iron Bowl with Moncreif.

-not getting a good vibe with Andrew Williams. Looking at JUCO Anthony Olobia.

One important part he left out on DQ. LSU is still focused on their top HS prospects and not pursuing DQ yet.

He is an EE right? Considering his off the field (sort of on the field personality) issues, I have a hard time believing LSU will change course in a month. They have some super legit prospects at WR right now and he is a risk.

Just got to get him to ink that financial papers like Bama did with Grant Hill

Anyone else a little bummed with the lack of public excitement from recruits about Auburn? Last year, people were chomping at the bit to be a part of what A&M did and doing it out loud. While I assume we are doing better in recruiting, bothering me that either A no info is coming out or B we aren't enjoying the public perception joyride we deserve after exceeding our expected win total 9 games into the season
