1 more note. Jordan picked up all 4 of his BCS offers in the past 2 days so either he balled out last weekend or he is playing very well and got good academic reports recently.

Stanton Truitt keeps on putting up big #'s this year.

125 yards on 8 carries and 3 TDs
145 yards on 4 of 5 passing and 3 TDs

In 3 games he's got 500 yards on 38 carries and passed for 238 with 7 TDs.

He brought this up himself. He seems to be thinking FSU/AU/UF.

I seem to remember us going hard after Beasley but he seemed to be all Clemson for a while.

Kam Pettway was helped off the field midway through the 2nd quarter. Prattville Coach Chad Anderson said at halftime Pettway "has a sprained ankle." Based on his tone of voice it does not seem serious. Pettway came out of the locker room with pads off, on crutches, but ankle not wrapped. He is Done for the night. Prattville is off next week so Pettway has 2 weeks to recover.

Stanton Truitt didn't hang stellar stats tonight. Had two big runs, one taken back for a block in the back and one shortened for unsportsmanlike conduct - he highstepped into the endzone.

Looked good all night, just didn't get many touches. His RB broke off 3 40+ yard TDs on their first 3 plays, and I don't think Truitt even put his helmet back on after halftime - they were up 49-0 and never needed him again.

fricking stupid. There is a difference between celebration and excessive celebration. Also, taking away TDs over celebrating is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of

My little brother was on the other team, and even he agreed it was a stupid penalty. And if it's not hurting the other team, just who is this unsportsmanlike conduct supposed to be hurting?

Those rules need to be relaxed.

I also really hate this. There's nothing like the feeling when you pick-6 a QB, look back as he dives and misses, knowing you're scoring the go-ahead TD getting excited as F then having it called back. "It's for sportsmanship"; no one on the field cares when people celebrate <10yd to go into the endzone.

Stanton did the right thing and is going to be a beast.

I just don't see the point of telling kids to hold in their emotion after making a fantastic play. There is a huge difference between celebation and taunting. Also, if it holds up the game or is taunting, it should be awarded after the extra point as a penalty for the kickoff

Agree completely and anyone who's played knows that. It's the people that haven't and lazy journalist QBs that call for this kind of shite.

Saw on AUC that L Carter recaped his visit. Judging from comments it seems like he's now showing mild interest although we trail everyone.

I remember reading over the past month or two that other programs are cooling on him a bit which probably is opening the door. We have a ways to go I'm sure but I think we have a chance

More indication that Stephen Roberts will probably flip. Interview with him and Shaun Dion Hamilton last night after the Opelika/Carver-Montgomery game...
