How did we not make Kevin Mouhon's top 5 (Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio State, Tennessee)? I would've sworn he called us his leader at one point.
Surely it's because we're only taking 2-3 LBers this year and aren't recruiting him that hard at the moment.

WR Demarre Kitt told ESPN Clemson, Ohio State, Auburn and Tennessee are standing out to him right now

He's 6-7 357 and a bama lock. Will be OL imo.

Looking at his film he is qrick for a big man. Right now he is projected as a DT or OG because of his quickness.

Considering he is Lorenzo Carter's teammate and pretty damn talented himself, we better be pushing for him hard. If we miss on both of those I may cry a little

I'd like to see where that info's coming from... it should just be a rule of thumb... if you post something like that, at least state the source.
With that said, it's hard to get too worked up in the first week of march. This staff will put together a good class, but if/when we win some games in the fall, momenum will build.

If the new recruiting rules on unlimited contact for coaches scheduled to go into effect in August stick it would be a good idea to start paying attention soon. The spring and summer should have heavy recruiting news since many kids want to be committed and shut things down before August.

the rules will definitely not go into effect this august... don't know if that will keep kids from 'shutting it down' before then or not.
Every year there are kids who commit very early and effectively end things... and then there are a bunch of kids who commit early and end up taking OVs in Jan and signing somewhere else.
No matter how good our staff is at this time, we're still going to be playing catchup for this cycle (at least)... the first real chance we have to build some actual momentum is winning games... but that's going to take a few months.

You are probably correct. TAMU's surprising season likely helped Sumlin's first recruiting class...and they have the #1 class early for 2014 as well.

My bad guys
His twitter profile showed up under "People You Should Follow" so I went to see some of his tweets.
And one of the first things I see is this:
Turns out he just retweeted that from Dante Sawyer. I didn't realize retweeted pictures would show up there.
Oops
