That was largely an AUC thing, but the joke was made once or twice around here as well.

Wants to make a decision during the season, likes the STAR position and is excited about it, wants to take a visit to UCLA at some point, and Georgia, Alabama, and UCLA are recruiting him hard as well.

At least the ultra sunshine pumpers aren't like a couple years ago where they were absolutelyconvinced we could grab any recruit we wanted and when we struck out, it was because the coaches went in another direction.
ETA: The worstt was when people would say "Trust the coaches they know what they are doing"

If Thornton was talking about getting richer he must have been talking about the cash Saban is offering to sign there because Saban isn't putting anymore DEs in the NFL than we have since he's been there. Its hard to get noticed when you are run stopping every play. Last year ours went higher bama's. Then you throw in Garner and how much more EJ uses DEs and its not ever comparable.

Also, their equivalent to our DEs is their 3-4 Jack LB who is their pass rush specialist. They consisetnly pump those kids in the league as 1stRD draft picks higher than anyone not Fairley/Cam for Auburn in years
