From the Notre Dame mod on Sean White:
quote:

Notre Dame has room, but the decision hasn't been made on whether or not they will offer. They will probably decide within a week or so when all the coaches are back from vacation.

I said it before and I'll say it again, if UNC or Notre Dame offer, I'll immediately Crystal Ball him to that school.

Sean White article post visit. LINK
quote:

AUBURN, Alabama -- Before Sean White headed up to the Elite 11 quarterback competition and The Opening, the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University High passer was flying a little under the radar. But his profile has risen in the past couple of weeks. White, listed at 6-foot-2, 204 pounds, was a consensus three-star who was bumped up to four stars in 247Sports' latest rankings, and a few big fish are starting to circle. "It's been fun," White said. "I had a good week out there at the Elite 11 and the Opening, and I think that only helped things. I think it makes coaches look, and then they go look at my film and see I'm good there, too." One of those coaching staffs was at Auburn. After hearing from Tigers offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee during an eye-opening performance that earned him Elite 11 MVP honors, White took an unofficial visit to Auburn on Thursday and came away impressed by the campus. "I really loved everything about it," White said. "First time I've been here, and I think what stood out was the family atmosphere. Everybody's close-knit." White holds 13 offers already, a group that includes West Virginia, Cincinnati, Arizona and Boston College. Over the past couple of weeks, though, he's drawn interest from Auburn, Notre Dame, South Carolina and North Carolina, and all four may offer him a scholarship soon. During White's talk with Malzahn and Lashlee, Auburn's coaches told the quarterback that an offer might be coming. Auburn is also deep in the running for the nation's top dual-threat quarterback, Brandon Harris, who also visited the Tigers on Thursday. "They both said that they were really, really impressed with me, and they said they were going to go in and talk about it today, over the next few days, and it's very likely or possible that I could get an offer," White said. Once White has all of his offers in tow, a decision could come quickly. After throwing for 2,921 yards and 35 touchdowns last season, White wants to commit before the start of his senior season at University and lock up his spot in the 2014 class. At quarterback, the chances come pretty fast, particularly after a passer turns some heads against the nation's top quarterbacks. "I don't think I'm ever going to narrow it down," White said. "I just think when I find the right fit, I'm going to pull the trigger, I know spots get taken up quickly at quarterback."

Harris is certainly talking up his visit. You guys that sure he is LSU bound?

I have mixed feelings as well on our QB situation. I really like White and his accuracy and game management on his film. Harris could be special. For some reason I think White will have a better chance at success. We have been burned on DT QBs the past several years.

Also, is South Carolina out of the picture with White? I thought Spurrier was showing growing interest.

I am actually serious. Since DCraig came around, our best QBs have all been black.Currently, all our scholly QBs are black. I don't want some "CRACKA" fricking with our juju now that Moseley is gone and it goes back to where it should be

I'm slowly wanting Sean While more than Brandon Harris.

My inner star-gazer seems to be fizzling out. There's something wrong here.

does seem odd the way he is blowing up twitter about Auburn if he truly hasn't made up his mind.

So...... We should have our QB situation settled out by the 18th?

Also, if White camped at UNC with their current OC, how come they haven't offered?

Very valid point that I'd like to know the answer to.

Same. I like the idea of have multiple types of quality QBs on the roster. Seems like it would give us additional options if the offense is having problems. If our staff really wants him (even as a back up plan), I hope they extend the offer prior to the 18th.

This is concerning a bit. Larry Fedora is a really good offensive coach. I wouldn't expect him to overlook a talented QB.

Well they already have a commitment from a 4* QB. Maybe they don't have room for 2?

White visited UNC prior to that QB (Caleb Henderson) committing, I think.
