With Robinson and Smith not making it in, sounds like we've got room for him.
Room was never an issue as far as I know. We had 4 open spots in the class and room under the 85 limit.

Per AUC, #2 juco DE DaVonte Lambert will take his OV to Auburn on July 20th. UGA is presumed to lead.

So will the punter come this August? We have 6 spots open? So why make him wait a year?

Hoke thinks he will in August. We still have 4 spots in the 2013 class. We signed 23. 2 count back to the 2012 class. That gives 21 for the 2013 initial counter class. Per the new rules if a school accepts an NLI that recruit stays counted as an initial counter in the 25 limit whether he makes it or not. In other words Jason Smith and E-Rob count to the 2913 class whether they make it to Auburn by August or not. If Jason can get to Auburn by January of 2014 he will only have to count once in the 2013 class. Any later than that he will count twice as an initial counter, 1 for the 2013 class and 1 for the 2014 class.

Cam Newton's Great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson will be the #1 QB and #1 overall recruit for that class. He is rumored to be leaning to AU although Miss ST has reportedly offered a $1,000,000,000.00 donation to the "Church of his choice". He plans on taking the payment then signing with AU anyway.

That posts got me thinking...

Cam needs to start having kids 2-3 years apart for the next couple decades. That way we have a Newton at QB continuously for a long time to come.

That gives a whole new meaning to the "plenty of time until signing day" quote.

The UT fans over on the recruiting board are already saying they're ranked #1. Hope we can catch up.

If we haven't incorporated lasers and hoverboards into football by 2913 I'm gonna be kinda pissed.

Jonathan Ford claims to have reported in at 5'11 195

in May and has already gained 8 pounds per Hoke.

Barber reported today at 5'11", 217.

So, looking at our RB's for this year, my guess on about what weight they'll play at...

Mason(JR) - 200
Artis Payne(JR) - 215
Grant(RJR) - 200
Barber(FR) - 220
Ford(FR) - 200

FB - Prosch(SR) - 250

When was the last time we had a group of 5 RB's and none of them were under 200 lbs?

Check out the first run by 2015 4* RB Eric Swinney in the state title game in this highlight video. He destroys 2013 5* Safety Vonn Bell for the TD. Auburn offered yesterday. LINK

Kid looks pretty darn impressive. Sandy Creek has been putting out a ton of talent recently.
