it takes all types... those guys listed above all have similar styles/physical makeup. a tall guy who can go over the middle and make a huge 3rd down grab are just as critical (if not more) than the burners on the edge.

Amari Cooper was 170 's coming out of high school, so I'm not too worried about that.
Plus, I would say Smith would need a redshirt year over Stevens anyways, not being a natural receiver and what not.

Absolutely, but it will be a whole new ball game having to actually learn the receiver position. He got to play an athlete in that game, more pitch and catch than anything else.
Don't get me wrong, he is athletic enough to play from day one, but I don't know if he will be able to get down the intricacies of playing WR for Gus as fast as somebody like Stevens who has been a WR for a while.
I would love to be wrong though
