I wouldn't put much stock into that. We're on the TideFans of corn dogs websites.

Let's not forget these are the same people who pimped out Ware and Mettenberger to no end.

Which is why I brought up Mettenberger as a precaution. Williams has been hailed as a can't miss talent by just about everyone though

They are a little homerish saying he would be picked out of JUCO but every analyst I've heard talk about him thinks he is damn good.

Not only is it homerish, it's downright asinine.

There's no way in hell a NFL team would pick him in a 7 round NFL Draft. There's no way. I'm not even talking about him playing JuCo ball, I'm referring to the baggage that comes with him. Great college players go undrafted because of attitude, past transgressions, run ins with the law, etc. As talented and hyped as he is, he still has a lot to prove and has some straightening up to do.

The question becomes, based on pure talent would he be drafted?

Has any JUCO player been drafted over the past 3/5 years?

I can't think of any, although I don't follow the draft religiously. Interesting topic though.

ETA: In the 2013 draft, no JUCO player was taken. Although, players from Missour Western, Harding University, Chadron State, Samford, Southern Utah, East Central (OK), Colorado State-Pueblo, and Tarleton State all had a draft pick. But no JUCOs.

Well that's what meant. I said a little homerish because they aren't completely wrong about his talent. They are just taking it to far.

There was one from a few years ago but if I were a JUCO guy with this much talent, I wouldn't declare for the draft and end up a 4-7th round draft pick when I could do what Patterson did. Patterson spent one year where he was good not great and still made it in the first round

Yep.

As an example, lots of draft "experts" had Da'Rick Rogers going anywhere from the 2nd round to the 4th round of the NFL draft.

Where did he actually go? Signed with the Buffalo Bills as an Undrafted Free Agent.

DHand has a top 5 of VT Mich bama Florida and USCe. Less enthused with visit to Auburn today than he was right after. Shocking, I know. Says he'll return but we're not contenders. Maybe Dede and TWill will turn the screws a little us.

If we have a good season I bet we will have more of a role in DHand's recruitment. If we can win 8 in the regular season and upset one of LSU, UA, UGA or A&M and not lose any bad we should see a lot of interested recruits

We're "a significant amount behind" the Top 5.

We're also "in the month of May". Alot of things will change with all of these recruits over the next 9 months.

They have already said they will not be overly bearing in their players recruitment process. I never thought we would get Hand. He is most likely VT or Mich.

As long as Hand doesn't end up in the SEC I can accept it. I just wish someone would help us out for once. On anyone.

Side note, McKenro Alexander is getting pretty jacked lately. Before and after

Because only steroids can make that big of a difference in such a short time or because it is a kid?

Mackenro posted it on some Auburn football fan facebook group. I mean it is basically public.

Fair enough . Just nice to see our players are tiny anymore and this is before they even get into S&C at AU

Also, anyone know anything about this Isaiah Crowell rumor that has been floating around I have seen it on the bunker and a few other places
