So for real...since we offered Boston, we probably whiffed on Parker, right?
would seem to be the case... i doubt we're 100% out of it, but we probably had a pretty good idea where we stood after his visit this weekend.

Some bad news coming out the day before NSD?
Hopefully not. I don't know of any on the horizon. Historically, the night before has been emotional around these parts.

I didn't see anything about Boston having an impact on Evans commitment until we offered. We were looking into him as a backup to either Bonney or Parker last I heard. I didn't expect either of those two guys so I'm glad we offered this Boston kid before Bama did.
Some people are trying to be detectives here and only look for pieces of evidence that support your doom and gloom theory, causing tunnel vision.

Lol. We would be miserable if we ever won 3/4 Natty's...

Penny disputes that now

Auburn wanted to take an additional safety along with a star. The Boston offer was because the staff feels confident that Lamont Simmons is heading to USC

Auburn had a group of safety that it really liked such as Bonney, Simmons, Parker and Boston. The Boston offer indicates that they others are headed elsewhere.

Ryan Bartow just predicted Parker to Auburn, and a minute later Penny predicted Parker to OU

screw recruiting, I'm going home

Hoke just posted saying Boston has not effect on Evans

Evans being recruited as a "safety" doesn't even make logical sense. The guy is obviously not a candidate to ever line up as a real safety in the defensive backfield, thus why would his decision impact whether or not REAL safeties like Boston, Simmons, etc. received offers?

Wrong.
It was two minutes later

I think Hoke is wrong here. 247 has said we plan to take a Safety and Evans for a while now. This makes more sense looking at our roster.

I like Hoke, but he needs to go home when it comes to Evans/Boston. He's drunk.
He just said yesterday on the AUR Rundown that whether or not Boston gets a firm offer would be directly linked to Evans' decision. It was his opinion, but he was dang sure of it. Yet he's been reporting for weeks along with the other pay sites that Auburn wanted to take another safety outside of Evans the whole time.
Even the guys covering this stuff are getting confused.

There's a new cocktail out there called The Recruiting Cycle. I've been told it'll knock you out after one sip.
Everybody drunk!

When it gets this close to NSD, I wonder why people continue to pay for these sites
I use my dad's 247 and a friend's Rivals logins...people are paying for peoples' guesses

I understand what you're saying, but it seems hypocritical to bash folks who pay when you're mooching off others who pay to get said info.

truth
I mainly just use it to read other peoples' message boards on 247 though
reading BOL right now, they're melting because Boston chose AU over Nebraska when clearly Nebraska is the better school
