So Markell Boston says Auburn, Miss State, Boise and Nebraska want him to OV this weekend, said Ellis was gonna visit him but the snow fricked that up

He said he thinks we are about to offer him...said he will definitely visit somewhere this weekend

I really like Markell Boston. Has the size we are looking for at db and is more athletic than some of the other guys we've looked at for Safety. I hope we offer.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn dropped by for his in-home visit at Braden Smith's house today, which actually happened 30 minutes to an hour ago. I think AuburnUndercover said they he flew straight from Miami, FL all the way to Olathe, KS. I think the bad weather pushed the to today (don't know if it was planned this way).

Also, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin was also on his in-home visit at Braden Smith's house.

I think that's the second time I was banned roughly 24 hours.

IMO, with all of the complaints of flaming/trolling on the recruiting board, someone decided to RA a post of mine (that was in no way worthy of being deleted), causing the admins to give me a short break and review my post history. I knew I didn't do anything wrong, I think they're just trying to crack down on some people (which is good). We know they are policing a board that was in bad need of it.

If that is, indeed, true, the coaching staff should save that spot and leave it open for next year, IYAM. I remember seeing where one of the Auburn writers stated that this staff wouldn't fill spots just for the sake of filling a class. I think they will be more cautious, which will lead to less processing in the future.

I don't see how you get banned so much. I argue all the time and have never been. Knock on wood.

His reputation precedes him... just like a safety who's known for big hits... He never gets the benefit of the doubt on a close call.

Maybe they don't read the Auburn board.

But anyways. What does it mean on 247 when they put a Crystal Ball on their prediction instead of a team? They took back their prediction? They have 21% for that on Jordan Prestwood but 247 still has us with 67% of the predictions. I don't even know we are even still after him.

FWIW, Auburn still leads for RaShaan Evans, but Alabama has made it increasingly close. Auburn still seems to be the destination.

Your source isn't getting worried is he?

We did pick up another Crystal Ball prediction tonight from Greg Croft. He is a Pitt writer though.

No, don't have Scout. From AuburnUndercover, per Steve Wiltfong (never heard of him).

couldnt find a time of the article but this is from Mike Farrell on Evans

quote:

The Favorite: Auburn
Like Humphrey, it will be hard for Evans to say no to the school where his father played. While his dad wasn't a legend at Auburn like Humphrey's father, this is an Auburn family and he does go to Auburn High School. It would be surprising to see him choose another school.
Biggest Threat: UCLA
Why wouldn't Alabama be the biggest threat? Simply because I just can't see Evans choosing the Tide in an Auburn family. As his father told me, "that would be weird." UCLA has had his interest for a long time and if the family takes a visit out to Los Angeles on their own dime this weekend, then you never know what could happen. UCLA is going to pull one or two surprises on Signing Day.
