The rule is two years sitting out unless the school provides a "release". When that is the case it is a one year wait to play unless the NCAA allows for hardship i.e. Jay Prosch but those situations are rare. The coach can single out schools to which a release will not be granted. If that is the case the 2 year rule applies.

Didn't they want to be apart? I thought that was the reason Mackenro came here

Every time I see Russell Wilson on TV all I can think about is how he should've been at Auburn.

Yea, but would we then still have Chiz? I am, in a way, glad he didn't end up coming to AU.

Meh, I doubt any changes in 2011 could've prevented the juggernaut of ineptitude that was the 2012 season.
Posted on 1/24/14 at 3:39 pm to TheSandman
True, assuming the coaching changes would have remained the same. However, I do believe 2011 would have been a much better season (possibly winning SECW), making firing Chiz a bit of a harder thing to do.

Yeah, the entitlement was running deep by then. Cat was out of the bag.

We wouldn't have fired him for one bad year. No matter how bad it was. If he would've kept the games close in 11 he would still be here.

Exactly. But that is pointless now.
So, mystery guest.

Agreed, had the players still looked disciplined and competitive, Chizik would still have coached last season more than likely.

It is Carlos Bustante from Real Madrid, highly touted kicker

We know he (or she, this is an equal opportunity recruiting thread) is committed to an SECW school
As long as it isn't Mississippi State or Arkansas I think I can be okay with this.
