No. They usually come out Thursday or Friday. By my count though expect at least 16 commits to be there.

Kipp Adams on Roc Thomas, I can cut down on this if it's not allowed, but I figured since it was simply his response to a question maybe it was okay.

"When looking at what goes into five-star status as a running back, you really have to bring the complete package. Thomas is explosive and has great hands, but he still has not shown the vision, ability to allow his block to develop, consistent pad level and strength/durability needed to sustain a season of hits in a conference like the SEC. In short, he did not answer the questions we had on him.

Also during UA practice Thomas ran high and the home run speed was not as prevalent as it was on film.

I have said multiple times I think Roc will be very productive at Auburn. He is going to a system that is built perfectly for his running style and they should be able to protect him from taking a lot of hits while he continues to physically develop."

That last paragraph kind of pisses me off

You'll have to excuse me because I haven't paid attention to who we are still looking at.

How is this class expected to shape up compared to the rest of the SEC West. Are we still recruiting guys for positions of dire need down the road? TIA.

They can hold their own with any other recruiting class in the conference.

Braden Smith at OL would be a nice addition. It'd be good to snag Evans for the STAR position down the road as well. We've answered all the needs for this class though

What Rig said with 1 deviation. If Garret can stay healthy then Star is covered the next 2 years with Therezie and Garrett. Thus my gut tells me Evans ends up at OLB and that is a pretty big need IMO. The staff also really wants someone in this class to replace G-Rob. If we could get Braden Smith it would fill that need. Then all of the 2014 season needs would be met IMO.

100% agree on all of this. Particularly regarding Evans. I don't think there's any chance Evans plays the traditional Star position similar to what Therezie or Garrett will play. He may play Star against Bama, UGA, LSU and Ark, but not the spread teams. He'll be an OLB, rush end and Star backer.

Seems most probable, though it would be sweet if we had another OLB so Evans could play whereever. You would think Javi Mitchell would have been a perfect fit at STAR, but sadly he wasn't. If he or Garrett could put on weight...

Javi Mitchell was also being talked about by Johnson but he got a concussion or something weird that detailed any progress. Don't remember what exactly

are we expecting any commitments this weekend? how many more are we taking? and are there any announcement dates of our recruits that are set in stone, be it NSD or whenever

1. No but you never know. 2. Looks to be 24 or 25 right now. 3. Evans on NSD. Braden Smith on NSD on ESPNU.

I know he got hurt during the SECCG, but I don't know if that was the issue. He did break a bone in his foot at some point, I believe.

The crazy thing about Mitchell is everyone talks about how he needs to gain weight, but he made several key goal line stops throughout the year. I feel like he's going to be a good OLB in a year or two. He was only a RFr this year.

He is also transitioning from playing DL in high school. He has a ton of ability and knows how to leverage himself well.

I'm not a recruiting guru but the kid is from Plaquemines Parish....dude is going to LSU. I think he is just taking his officials while he can. Like to steal one from them though.

Considering Evans won't be in town, Smith already has it set up for NSD and I think Williams is signing day too, I'd be shocked if anyone commits publicly
