Alexander's recruitment has been extremely difficult to follow. He rarely shoots it straight with reporters, and college coaches are frustrated with dealing with him. He has made multiple trips to Clemson, and recently tripped to Mississippi State and Auburn. This feels like a kid going to Auburn.

This is from LCT's link and is basically saying what I had just posted about MacKensie. Just seems like he's kinda of confused and is rushing his decision

I'd love to have him, but I'd rather play LB than be a glorified fullback.

He is calling the coaches of the two teams tonight and most likely making it known on signing day is what I understood.

Because no one never really knows what's going on at Auburn so maybe he is a good fit

That's a terrible idea. His decision will eventually get out before NSD. If he wants to keep it a secret -- and maybe he couldn't care less -- he'd be wise to wait until NSD.

Could just be a signing ceremony?

1/31 UPDATE: Auburn is not bringing in Columbus (Ga.) WR Marquis Hawkins or Prattville (Ala.) OL Austin Golson. They are done with Golson.

Character issues is what I heard.

I don't think he cares. His coach has a real level head and has taught him not to make no big deal about announcing. I read it on a BM article on 247. Seems to me he has a top notch coach from what I read.

BM says Jeremy Johnson and Cameron Toney will probably come to Auburn on unofficial visits this weekend. It's big having them there.

Folston went on a visit to Auburn, and there was an article published after saying that the visit actually made him more confident about his choosing ND. Now a few days later there's another article saying he's struggling. Chances he'll flip?

Charlie, based on colleague Corey Long's article, which is on Insider (LINK it seems like Folston is really struggling with this decision and won't know for certain until the afternoon of signing day.

SIAP: It appears Bisaccia offered to stay through NSD and Gus nixed that because he felt it would be misleading recruits.

Per BM
-Golson and Auburn parted ways
-Still feels very good about Reuben
-Feels Auburn is gaining momentum with Monty
-Hears good things about MacKensie and Auburn. Won't know anything for sure til NSD but comfortable that Auburn is the team to beat for him. (Seems very contradictory to me.)
-Still feels the Alexanders play together.
- Feel very good about Ford and does not expect him to visit anywhere this weekend.
-Feels good on Walton
-3* OT Devontre Seymour is a definite take for Auburn. Even if he does not qualify he can go to prep school and be ready in 2014
-3* safety Chequan Burkett is not a take at the moment but the coaches like him and will take him if there is room. He is OVing this weekend.

Free from BM
quote:

He met with both the football and basketball during the visit. He said he liked Auburn and the school and both coaching staffs. He said Auburn was "up there" on his list and didn't list any current favorites. He plans to visit Georgia Tech this weekend and probably have a decision on Signing Day. Elder said he'd likely sign a football scholarship.

Thanks

I think we have a strong finish. Imagine the momentum going into next years class.

Somebody asked later if he was still visiting and the reply was "Definitely."
