I would love for folston to come to auburn but I'd rather have Derrick Green. There's a reason rivals has him as the best rb in the country and he reminds me a little of my favorite auburn back I've watched play in Ben Tate. Will folston hurt our chances with him? I wouldn't think it would considering they'd have different roles and would both see the field a lot.
I don't think Folston would affect Green since he could play the edge role. I love Derrick Green but I feel Bryant's running style is a better fit for Gus's offense. I hope he OVs this weekend.

You can't trust anything that is said in recruiting anymore. Dee liner gave us a whole semester of that class for free. All we can do is read the "body language" and the writing on the wall and take everything with a grain of salt. I think folston believes he is an auburn lean which definetly trumps what his coach says.

Bryant's a helluva back I just can't see him flipping from notre dame. But who knows? I've been wrong before. I thought for sure Reuben Foster wouldn't ever decommit from bama. And I didnt think folston would affect green but I've heard that green commiting to his might hurt our chances with folston.

If Folston wasn't seriously considering Auburn he wouldn't be reannouncing on NSD.

If Ty Isaac flips to ND then Bryant will be very much in play.

Auburn, UT, and Michigan making in home visits today and tonight with Derrick Green.

Wasn't Ty Isaac seriously considering auburn at one point?

The coaches need to do some work tonight. He belongs on the plains.

Patience Grasshopper, the coaches need time, plus our big weekend is in 10 days...

He never seriously considered us. He visited one time and that was pretty much it.

Green is going to Michigan...I think our coaches know that now and are putting the full court press on Bryant and Tenpenny, who I feel are the two best fits for Gus' offense. Green is a fricking stud, but prolly is a better pro style fit. Bryant and Tenpenny would be hell in Gus' system.

This weekend should be uber interesting. With Bryant visiting possibly the same day green makes his decision and all the while folston is mulling over his future in auburn. Hopefully our new coaches can close unlike our beloved group of narcaleptic idiots from frickin last year.

Tenpenny's my favorite out of the whole bunch. He would be heisman material on the plains no doubt. But unfortunately this is looking like a courtesy visit for Tim horton just like the thing with tony Conner and melvin smith.

Didn't they say that about Dyer too? Power backs work in Gus's offense, and Dyer is a prime example. Hopefully Gus is selling that to DG.

Not so fast my friend. If Kamara commits to Bama then Tenpenny may give us a serious look. Kamara committing would give them 4 RBs in this class.

Green and Dyer are not that similar.

Maybe. But he's been looking at bama and Arkansas forever and we're the new dog in the fight and the new dog rarely ever wins. But the fact that we have horton on our side could help tremendously. I don't think I've ever wanted a player to commit to bama before but I'm pulling for them in the kamara fight. He'd probably be better under mike bobo anyways.

A lot of athletes reannounce just for the publicity. While I do agree that we are in play for Folston and he can flip, reannouncing has been done before by others just for the sake of attention.

Green has an idea of where he will commit, but is still evaluating. Folston's the only prospect to visit the new staff which makes him the current most likely to sign. Chances with Bryant are low until he officially visits the new staff. Barber and Ford both hold Auburn offers but a number of other programs are making late pushes. Depending on how the staff feels about Folston and Green, Barber and Ford may become priorities.
