The bottom line is if you're bringing in an uncommitted guy on Feb 1st, you've gotta very slim shot at getting his commitment... they're minds are usually made up well before the weekend before NSD... that's why I wouldn't hold my breath on dudes like Barber and Adams coming in at that time...

Fair enough.
On another note BM says Golson has not ruled out Auburn yet but a decision on if he will OV on Feb. 1 will likely be made tomorrow.

Chris Jones has set an official visit to Auburn on Feb. 1 according to ESPN. Surprised that ESPN would be breaking this news.

I think it's a good sign for recruits to use the last recruiting weekend for OV to Auburn
As long as they're not trying to recruit for another school during the visit I say bring'em on

I doubt we have a legit shot at him, but I would laugh hysterically if Chris Jones flipped to us. Mullen's hump would straighten with all his whining to the NCAA

Derrick Green is in serious play...he wont visit again but he doesnt have to... ive seen kids commit to a school theyve never even visited before... he knows AU and his postion coach and malzhans success

Per 24/7, Jones visit is tentative. Still not 100% sure he'll visit.
