Strong words from Bower.

Was this a "mutual" thing like Wilkins, or did he just decommit on an NFL special teams coach?

He seems to have a good support system around him and is not caught up in all of the attention. Doesn't seem to play games and is just trying to make a good decision. More reason I like him and will hate it if he goes elsewhere.

Agreed, Lawson family seems legit and hard not to like the kid no matter where he ends up. Lawson has always been the one recruit I want most.

Not quite sure on that one yet. Hoke reported it but deleted both the tweet and the thread on the Bunker. He said it looked like they were parting ways but not he isn't so sure. Hoke is now in wait and see mode.

Don't need a punter. Just a placekicker.

Unless we plan on going for 2 every time

Yes we do, if we could keep punters like Clark on the team every year it's worth a scholly.

Especially those games when Malzahn's O isn't clicking the D will need the best field position it can get.

A good punter can be invaluable. I have zero problem giving a scholarship to a good punter and kicker every other year.
