That sounds more right. He was pulling away from defenders, but he wasn't dusting them. The Ronnie Brown comparison sounds about right. I still like Blakely a lot.

I think he's 4.5 range maybe a little quicker but he has a massive frame almost like Trent coming out of HS that is a great time and great speed for a downhill runner like him

The top 2 RBs by far in this years class are Green and Tyren Jones, Kelvin Taylor is 3rd behind them...but both those guys are special crazy that AU gets one and Bama gets one and neither are from the state haha

I think there are a bunch of RBs near the top this year, but I just haven't seen any one truly stand out much above the rest of the top.

My feelings as well. Alot of very good backs, but none that are spectacular

Tyren is pretty spectacular a very complete RB and he plays top area 5a Ga and they had to take him out almost always at half or 3rd quarter after he had rushed for 250 - 300 yds and they were up by a couple TDs

He's a beast

Just so you know while Georgia overall has a very strong high school football system, it is sort of put together very randomly, especially after it was changed up this offseason. There are certainly some very strong regions, and I doubt any suburban ATL region is going to be particularly bad, but there are probably more than a few questionable teams in each region. Not too mention, they often let the schools fudge their numbers to stay in certain classes. For instance, I don't think Valdosta has any business being in the top size category anymore, but they would never admit that. I just wouldn't go on regional competition as a be-all, end-all for talent. Pretty sure that Walker was in 1A or 2A when in high school.

I think Tyren is top 5, but his team is stacked and while they play some very good teams, some are pretty average. He's better than many, but I don't think he's any better or worse than Green, Bryant, Isaac, or Taylor

You sure you don't want to move up Bama's recruits some more?

If I am being truthful and basing it strictly off of highlights and camps:

Taylor>Tenpenny>Tyner>Jones>Bryant>Henry>Green>Issac

Issac just doesnt look like a RB. He reminds me of George Farmer for some reason, and he is a Wing Back in a Triple Option...

Also depending on Tenpenny's season I think he may become a 5 star. Scarily similar to Trent Richardson as far as body type, style, and same injury. He is at 5'11 212 now

Tyren Jones is pretty good for sure but those stats are wrong. He plays for Walton here in Marietta, which is a good but not great team and region. A good game to watch will be Walton vs Marietta, Jones on one side and the LSU recruit at QB for Marietta on the other.

My only knock on Jones is he is kind of small compared to the type of back Bama usually gets.

I would like to know what Green runs right now (40 time). If you look at his body now compared to his Junior highlights he looks completely different. He's lost a lot of fat, dude is ripped now.

Yeah Henry is easily last on that list. Kid will not play RB at the next level unless the team he goes to is thin at RB

looks like the Bammerham news is putting all of our commits at the back of the Top Seniors list.

I guess people will gravitate to the thread that iis more exciting and fun. Plus they think their thread sucks.

RIIIIGHT because posting my thoughts/opinions and having discussion on prospects with some of the more informed and intellectual AU posters is "shitting" in your thread

Give me a break man come on....
