Yeah I'll wait to see him play a little bit before forming an opinion on him

Y'all have not been paying attention to our potential recruits. He played high school football at Opelika - games were accessible - and he played in the AL-MS all-star game where his weakness showed out, and he failed at bama, and he up till Spring Practice 2013 failed at Auburn.
Again, nothing against the kid but he's just not going to be of much value to Auburn.

Just checking his HS highlights... he's got great straight-line speed, not much elusiveness or change of direction really, but has the ability to break arm tackles.
I hope he does something. Hell, I hope all the players on the team are able to live up to their potential.

Holy hell!!! His hand usage and punch and shedding is great! Wow! Would make a great SDE or DT

Whelp, that solves it then. 3 years out of HS. One RS season. One mandatory sit-out year. One season injured. Kid obviously will never amount to anything.

Well....I guess Tom Lugenbill and Mike Farrell are both blind as a damn bat....as well as the 700 million other recruiting services

Yea he had offers from a lot of big schools. On rivals he was -#180 recruit.

I think Green is the best RB in the nation, but Barber would be a good get for us.
To be completely honest I thought that Derrick Henry, the kid going to Alabama, looked like the best RB at the Army game and could be the best RB in the class. He gets pigeon-holed as not being a "true" RB because of his size, but he absolutely showed real RB ability at the Army game. He looks like a Steven Jackson clone. Will probably be a monster in Saban's offense behind those ridiculous o-lines.

The kid was eligible to play last year and did (poorly).
He will not be a good football player at Auburn. I'm truly sorry for you people who have invested sentimental feelings and hope in this kid, what him having "seen the light" and all and transferred.

Yep I'd say Derrick Henry is the best back when all things considered.

Confused. Are we now with them or against them.

I got this from somewhere I will not name. Sadly I think much of it is true and will happen.
"AU currently is sitting at 15 commits. I think we lose Jordan Wilkins but finish with Reuben Foster, Peyton Barber, Derrick Green
De'Runnya Wilson, Toby Johnson, Khari Harding, Zach Cunningham, Antonio Longino, and Kyrin Priester to finish at 23 total."
Bolds are the ones I agree with.

Considering a change in coaching staff, if we pull that type of class of I think it is cause for celebration.
We would pull in 3 five star defensive players, a top ranked QB and WR. The rest of those guys are either solid or high ceiling projects (which hopefully we decide to develop for a change)
Also, why do you think Jordan Wilkins is not leaving? Our staff all but showed him the door unless something changed

If Green does visit or gets visited then I could see him coming to us.

No, I do think JW is out. But isn't this the weirdest thing - neither wants the other but neither is doing anything about it? Crazy.
And I only said "sadly" because I don't want to give praise the guy that compiled that list.

None of those are really bold predictions. Those are all reasonable.

I think the reason we aren't doing anything is because Gus wants to honor the original offer. And I think Wilkins is staying put to reserve a spot in our class in case he does want to end up at AU. He'll probably stay committed until he's ready to make a decision on where he wants to go if its not Auburn.
