I think you're thinking of Nate Montana.

Nick Montana was around 65% this year completion percentage.

Hooks told Hoke he will visit today but Hoke remains a bit skeptical.

I hope RF comes to Auburn. Trooper has been urging him to strongly consider us.

Bryan Matthews
5-star JUCO DT Lavon Hooks is tentatively scheduled to unofficially visit Auburn later this afternoon/evening. We will update if/when he arrives. It's possible that 4-star DE Za'Darius Smith will also unofficially visit too.

It's pretty obvious our new staff doesn't think too highly of our current DLs.

I'm pretty sure not even their mothers think too highly of their on field performance

Just can't believe how bad Whitaker has been. He was more highly thought of than Gabe Wright coming out of high school, and he hasn't done crap in 3 yrs

I wouldn't say he was more highly thought of than Wright. They were both high 4 stars IIRC.

They were about the same. Mid to high 4 stars on all sites IIRC

Gabe obviously had a thing for Fairley, making up that "Nick who?" hat like he did. He needs to take a conditioning lesson from him and change his body like Nick did between '09 and '10. Gabe's good but he's fat. Lose that gut, shape up (prolly the whole team does) and I could see him playing up to the potential he had as a recruit.

Gabe was hanging around top 100 and Whitaker was around top 50. Not huuge difference but edge Jeff

Scout had them both the #11 DT, Rivals favored Jeff, and ESPN favored Gabe. I'd say it's even

I've always considered Gabe to be the more 'touted' of the two.

Hearing Devonte Danzey had an "amazing" visit today. Could be a big pick up for us.

Cooper City (Fla.) ATH Lemond Johnson has flipped his commitment from Auburn to Tennessee. Johnson's father confirmed the news to me. They said Auburn's new staff never really reached out to Lemond other than telling him he wouldn't be able to enroll early.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of JUCO linemen. He would be a nice pick up. Hutchinson has been good to us.
