Thats a good thing because Greg Bryant committed to the Irish. Hopefully we can hang on to Derrick Green.

Been out of the recruiting loop for a while but I know Green hasn't committed, what indicates we have him in the bag? I think we had backed off of Bryant (who I preferred at the time) to pursue Green who was also looking at Michigan and Tennessee. What are our chances of landing him with Gus?

Anybody can answer this

No he hasnt committed, but even the ones that have arent "in the bag". I do know we were atop his list before the coahing change. He hasnt commented on anything but surely 9 1000 yard rushers in 7 years for Malzahn can do some convincing.

Who are our EE's? I guess Artis-Payne and I thought Lemond Johnson was planning to. Anyone else?

There's an article on the Michigan rivals site that looks like Derrick Green says Michigan is in the lead.

That would be a good place for him. THat Tousant guy is not real good and an upperclassman. He wouldnt have to wait long to play.

Auburn has offered one of the nation's top JUCO defensive tackles in the country in Northeast Mississippi C.C. four-star prospect Lavon Hooks.

Really want Hooks. Kid's a beast and grew up an Auburn fan apparently.

As for D Green, he said the coaching changes at AU and UT give Michigan an edge right now

Sills still has Auburn as one of the four schools he's still considering FWIW. Says he has no favorites.

I never had any faith that kid was going to stick to his commitment. Like the day he "committed" or the next couple days he was already talking about how much he liked WVU and wanted to give them an official. That is never a good sign.

Reuben said he came over to the athletic complex and met with Coach Gus Malzahn today. He said it was a real good meeting and that Auburn is still in it. He said a number of coaches came by to see him today including Todd Grantham from Georgia. He said he plans to go on his five official visits and have a final decision on Signing Day.

He mentioned Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Texas A&M and Washington as potential visits.

He said he's a Momma's boy and will lean on her for a lot of advice. I think as long as his mom still lives in Auburn he will sign with us.
