Sorta reminds me of how Campbell began his career at AU. I think he started with a loss to Syracuse?
Exactly. I think KF is similar to Campbell in skill set and attitude. He's got the ability to be a good QB, but unless he steps it up we're going to have a couple guys pushing him pretty hard in the upcoming years.
To those talking about posting when drinking, I've gotten a LOT better about it. Some of the shite I've posted on here after getting back from the bar is just belligerent.

some I pissed off and some Who knows. Next time I am just getting the hell out of here.

How do you guys watch the game and post at the same time? I can't recall the last time I was in a situation where that was possible.

I didn't mostly yesterday. I only do it if I am watching from home and you find moments. Of course I am not a young buck, partying and hooking up with girls during the game either. Not saying I don't miss that, but getting strange is off my menu for now.

Partying-yes, hooking up-only sort of thanks to a handle of 80 proof.

Stat tiger might be the best Auburn poster on any of the sites. His stuff is extremely interesting and insightful, and he really does a good job of breaking the numbers down into easily understandable terms for those of us without the math brain.

JCam started against Ball State his RFr year, list the job during the Fla game that year, then won it back the Fla game his sophomore year.

Agree.
By the way, while dissappointed with the loss Sat, I am not down on the team or performance. I think the game really was about as expected. It was expected to be close with Clemson a slight favorite to win and it was. Clemson is a good team. Not LSU/Bama good, but worthy of a ranking near the top 10 (like #10).
Anyway, some comments:
Oline looked very good. They are going to be a huge positive as the year progresses. We are going to be set for several years on the Oline and will have a dominant Oline by late this year or early next year.
RB: Mason did well. We have lots of quality backs. I am still pissed about TJ. He is a special back and while we have quality and depth I do not see that rare blend of elusiveness, power and speed.
WR: We have problems. Blake is good, but we just do not have any big playmakers yet. Coates, Reed, Bray really need to develop faster. We did have a long TD, but we need some game changers and playmakers.
QB: Decent game by Frazier. He has to keep getting better. Time will tell. Jason Campbell maybe a good analogy.
Dline: Great DEs as expected. Our tackles were horrible. We have missed out on Goldman and Ray Drew the last two years to FSU and UGA. Those are the elite DTs that I believe would be starting or playing a lot this year. We have some quality at tackle, but we whiffed two years in a row on the elite DTs we went after in recruiting and it shows.
LB: Pretty much as expected. We are very average. Evans had a bad game, Holland was serviceable, and Bates played well as he should as a 4 year starting senior. Nothing much more to say here. Bama has been crushing us at LB recruiting for 3-4 years and it shows. Foster and Johnson can't get here soon enough.
DBs: Decent corner play. Need help and some guys back from injury at safety. We have recruited well enough we shouldn't have a problem here.
That's my take. We will be a lot better team later in the year than now. Lot of growing to do, but it is obvious to me we are already significantly better than last year at this point and pointed in the right direction.

I miss Tracy Rocker and so does the team. Still Fairley was not dominate until his Junior year.

If we can't stop the run, it's gonna be a long year. Everything else was OK.

I agree, the scary part is the past 2 years we have done pretty good against the run when facing good backs. We held Latt, Trent, Ingram and several other guys to under 100 yards. The State game should be a better indicator of how good our defense is.

I thought I'd mention one thing about WR. If Frazier hadn't come up short on that one pass to Coates he would have had a TD and Coates really did try to come back to the ball. Then of course there was Reed's mental error on the endzone ball. I wonder if not for those two mistakes we would be talking about WR as much? That would have been three WR's with TDs.
I'm not disagreeing with anyone saying that we don't need them to step up more because they do, I'm just saying we were very close to having a decent day with getting the ball around to WR's from a scoring standpoint. We're going to see much better coverage from State so we're either going to have to pound it or they'll have to show some improvement.
I thought the WR's did block very well last game which is nice. Don't forget that our WR's didn't really have to run routes too much last year or make adjustments so there will be a learning curve. I think we'll see improvement from this department especially as Frazier gets more comfortable.
ETA - Has anyone talked about Ryan Smith? Did anyone catch during the last Clemson drive how he just completely missed Tajh Boyd? He launched himself for the tackle and Body was at least three or four yards away from him. I know he wasn't the only one to miss a tackle but that was just plain horrible.
