Such a sad day. I saw their daughter graduated this year. Sure do wish they coulda been there to see her walk across that stage.

How do you all think Andy has done since taking over? I’m still trying to get used to him honestly. He gets a little too over the top and whiney for me sometimes and kinda seems to force some things. I do enjoy his enthusiasm though and love for Auburn. Glad we got someone who loves them like a fan does and not a national guy who has to force a love for them. Overall being thrown into that situation following his best friend he’s done fairly decent. I still find myself going to listen to Rods top calls on YouTube quite frequently.

War Eagle forever Rod and Paula.

Terrible situation. Thought Rod was a great replacement for Jim.

Andy sucks at football and maybe it’s because where they sit in the stadium but he just doesn’t do for me. Basketball he is good. I think we could find a better football guy but Andy has stepped up onto a terrible situation and done what he can and with the 2 kids they seem to being a great job and I’m sure Rod is looking down smiling at how well it appears they have done finishing what Paula and Rod started. Huge props to Andy and family for all they have done.

There were some growing pains with Rod initially too, then "Go Crazy, Cadillac!" happened.

Hope Andy nails an iconic call here soon.
