We aren't gonna see people play that haven't played in months are we?

Not sure I understand that question...

Here's the deal and what we know. We know the ACC from #2 to the bottom of the conference was terrible this year.. they've all shown inconsistency and bad play. What we don't know and won't find out is if any of that rubbed off onto a very talented FSU team.

Exactly. I think FSU is SEC quality, what I'll be interested to know is if having it too easy is a detriment or a positive?
One thing I do truly believe is Auburn will not get down emotionally if they get behind. Even late in the game.

Since Holsey and Garrett were traveling with the team, I wondered if they would be playing?

Alot of this comes from Marshall, and Gus.

Both of them are eligible for redshirts correct?
They may also serve roles with the scout teams and can be utilized during bowl practice in Cali

Garrett is a RS and I'm not certain on Holsey. Don't think it's been made official yet. I doubt Holsey is ready to do anything other than rehab.
Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that Garrett will be fighting this type thing from now on? Maybe is he stays off it until Spring? IDK but dangit!

Yeah, no way Holsey is able to do anything football related yet.

2013 FSU is significantly better than 2010 Oregon... at pretty much every personnel grouping except RB. Better QB, OL, WRs, and way better defense.
Posted on 12/30/13 at 7:52 pm to lowspark12
is that significantly better a statistical call or eyeball call. I don't care either way but if it's statistical then we have to try and compare 2010 PAC1# football to 2013 ACC football.
I still contend FSU is SEC quality but I also believe they would've been left out to dry had Alabama and Oregon run the table.

I agree that FSU is better than 2010 Oregon at almost every position. I wouldn't call them 'significantly' better, though.
To add without comment - total point differentials for the regular season:
2010 Oregon: 592-221 (avg. diff. per game: 49-17)
2013 FSU: 689-132 (avg. diff. per game: 53-10)
Keep in mind 2013 FSU played one more game (13) than 2010 Oregon (12) during the regular season.

Pac10 is also better than the ACC

And I think the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 PAC10 is better than the 2013 ACC.

Conference strength is fun for discussions, but when the whistle blows on 1/6, SOS won't mean shite.

Obviously. We are arguing over who is going to win and playing high level football definitely factors in
