BTW, what was the biggest stadium FSU played in on the road this year?

And how many current FSU players have played on a BCS National Championship team?

The lesson these players have learned this year is that a football game is never over till the clock strikes zero and the refs call game over.

I loved that about this team. They never thought they were out of a game.

Amen. Just like the LSU game. I've never been more proud of a team in a loss. It was like LSU got up 21-0 and said "ha, you guys still suck!"

And were shocked that we kept punching them in the mouth the rest of the game. It showed a lot about this team.

Remember there was another great ACC team from just two years ago that was supposed to be just awesome, Clemson. They were set to play West Virginia in the Orange Bowl.

Keys to the game:

A) Run the ball. Keep Tre healthy.
B) Run the ball. Keep Nick healthy.

I think if we just run run run, their defense will get tired. They've been conditioned all year to being up by so much at half they didn't have to play with the game on the line late in the game. Keep it close @ half, by the fourth quarter their D will be gassed.

Well we have our first lifetime ban bet

auzach v. sampson

If Auburn wins, or lose by 13 or less, auzach stays, if not, he's voted off the island

sampson says he will pronbomb the soccer board if he loses

The benefit of having some seniors who played in 2010.

quote:

Ford believes the experience of winning a national championship three years ago for him and Auburn’s other seniors will be a big benefit for the Tigers as they begin practice early next week.

"We're going to be able to really tell them things that we wish we would have done and things we did well, as far as preparing,” Ford said. “...I think the biggest thing in winning a national championship is really focusing. It’s not really planning to win, it’s focusing every week.”

One thing FSU/anti-Auburn fans say is you lost to LSU. Okay. New coaches, new QB, new scheme for some, new everything, on the road and in the rain and they got behind. But they got right back up and punched LSU in the mouth. LSU was ticked. And Auburn kept doing it.

Because it wasn't about winning the BCS NCG, it was about becoming a better team. And they played lights out in the toughest division of the toughest conference for the rest of the year.

Reminds me of the 2007 and 2011 NY Giants and the 2011 STL Cardinals in baseball, they're figuring things out, have crazy games, go on a hot streak at the end and then beat the unbeatable teams.

Very few Undefeated NC teams.. Last year Alabama lost to TAMU at Home... 2011, Alabama lost to LSU at home and got a mulligan to play them again...

42-28 FSU... if this game were played this coming weekend, I'd feel great about it... but with the layoff and time to prepare for our offense, FSU gets it done just enough. I do think it will be a close game throughout, with a late TD to ice it.

Only if there is a garbage TD scored real late.

I know you may think voting against Auburn has served you well this season, but I will be asking for you to be banned from the Auburn board when our team hoists the BCS trophy in Pasadena.

My new favorite reason why Au will lose...FSU has SEC talent.

Didn't Au beat 8 teams with SEC talent already?

The month off, imho, does not aid a team that relies on passing. Take the run game over passing in the first half especially.

And a month off does not help Heisman winners either. Sometimes, not all of the time, those guys get very very full of themselves and I'm sure that JW is not full of himsel...

I think the month off is better for Auburn. It allows Gus to dream up more Gus stuff (remember the UVA game?) and allows for more wrinkles to be added to the core plays. And it allows CEJ to work over the DBs and make sure the pass rush at the line is ready. Plus you've got 10-13 guys like Dee Ford who played in the last BCS NCG to help prep and lead. You need Ford to freak out the FSU O-line into false starts.

The Auburn players seem to trust their coaches, I don't blame them, I would too.

I still don't think looking at the stats is particularly helpful given it's ACC vs SEC. I think FSU is SEC quality, don't get me wrong, but their schedule was pure ACC.

Post Practice Press Conference

Talks conditioning, FSU, JW and Marshall and refs. The question was kind of legit about using Big 10 refs and hurry up offense but Gus answer was great.

So the layoff only goes one way in your mind.. that's so ignorant and stupid considering what you've seen from our coaching staff the entire year.

Rig; We have heard the same song and dance every week from the nega-barners and the opposition. That is what makes it even sweeter.
