Clearly you didn't watch him last year then. He isn't Lebrom but he moves very well for a 6'7 player
No he isn't as quick as Tahj but when your 6'7 with wingspan you don't have to

He just talks out of his arse. We should be used to it by now. My personal favorite are the recruiting nuggets he "summarizes".

To be fair, Lang wasn't that agile before the injury either.

I was just making an observation that Lang hasn't developed.
Brown looks really good on defense. He's very disruptive.
Cim still struggling around the bucket.
Tyler Harris is great. Our offense definitely flows through him. When he's out Canty or Dunans have to create for them selves.
Canty is going to be fun to watch this year!
Ready to get New Williams back so we can pressure more.
The lack of bigs is still troubling us. Granger and Wadell in the game together for extended minutes is when Colorado when on a 10-0 run.

Lang, the guy who wasn't highly recruited, expected to RS last year, was fricking awful to start 14-15, and now giving decent minutes despite a sprained MCL hasn't developed?
I bet you think Cam hasn't progressed in NFL because his passing stats aren't at Tom Brady levels

OP and schedule picture have been updated to reflect today's result. Will add the recap in the 2nd post later tonight.
All in all I'm pleased with how we played. Very competitive against a team that is really great around the basket

He's been out with injury. Lay off.
IF....IF we get Purifoy eligible...
We're a tourney team.

This is where we miss Reed

2 things killed us FT 12-22, 57% and the refs destroyed all our momentum in a 3 minute stretch that started with the technical on Spencer. They called the game really close when Colorado had the ball and let a bunch of shite go when we had the ball. Even with the shitty refs we should have made a few more FT and had a real chance at the end.

I thought he was a decent recruit that could shoot and had good size. I thought he would help us on the boards and scoring.
It would be nice if he could develop into that 10-12 ppg 6th man but he hasn't flipped the switch offensively.

It is easy in the secondary sport to miss things and come to conclusions are off. I don't think 24 is a moron but he clearly is off.
If he maintains that a known project is a bust after game 2 based on his play when injured, I actually do think he is a moron

Purifoy would be clutch. He likes to post up smaller guards like Harrs.
Would help us a lot with our lack of bigs

It pains me to watch Bowers attack the rim for brick. He tries to make shots that he's just not capable of hitting, at least not consistently. At least last year he would put it up and follow up to rebound because he knew he would miss.

VTech cut him loose and he likely would have ended up at South Alabama. His name probably got him most of his notoriety

He is playing perimeter game which limits rebounds. Last year he had a lot of hustle rebounds. That is hard when you are crippled
His offensive projection was always 3pt shooter. He was never expected to be a TJ Dunans dribble drive. He did some last year but not easy when you have bum knee

This is the expectation but for his JR year. Combine bum knee and it is hard to be that in SO year

Sucks to lose, but this game will be a great teaching tool for the young guys.

2 games into his sophomore season?
If you had any decent left in your soul, you would go play in 5 o'clock traffic.

Just so we are 100% clear, the injury that is making Sean White look crippled and can't walk?
TJ Lang is playing D1 basketball with that inhury
So yes, he doesn't look athletic and isn't moving extremely well. Probably because most people look crippled when they have this injury

it doesn't take long in basketball. I knew watching him last year what he was going to be.
He's a spot up 3 guy. Like I said no problem with that.
Just bugs me to see people say he's our best on ball defender and should be starting.
People had him pegged as 20_ppg guy in our off season threads.
I was just trying to temper you alls expectations
He hit a big shot to win us a game last week. I'm thankful for his 3 point ability

No one had him as 20 ppg this year. I know, I was reading those threads

People said he is our best wing/ perimeter defender. This is accurate when not injured.

He will never be an offensive weapon outside 3s. At end of last year he was very good on D.

There are a lot of rich 3-&-D guys in the NBA...That's a prominent role on a NBA Team. That's a skill set.
