Our team has shined in just about every game where the refs let us play.

They have some quality wins @ UF @ Wichita St. @ ND
Watching them tonight though makes you wonder how they won those games.

Yep, we've turned it around after Canty got the boot and we got Dunans back. Can't complain where we are today after where we were a few weeks ago.

Will be nice next year to have enough scholarship players active to play a scrimmage. Hopefully we can get a GT point guard and big
Any update on Trayvon Reed and his return? Purifoy is good to go for next year too right? Any grade risks in recruiting?

Take all this with a grain of salt because this kind of news is usually more optimistic than reality. Reed is up to about 255, supposedly hasn't been any trouble and is starting to develop a little offensive game. Purifoy had a good 1st semester in the classroom and as long as things don't change there he will be good to go. Grade wise they all have to finish out school before we know for sure but we don't have anything like Purifoy where it was known he had a lot of work to do.

The Reed news is awesome. Last year he just wasn't right. I'm pretty sure he air balled a layup as a matter of fact. Having a 7 foot center with an offensive presence will be huge for us. It's something we desperately need.

At the college level, if you are 7'+, reasonably athletic and decent hands you should be able to be an offensive weapon. There just aren't enough college post men who can guard a moderately skilled C

Going to be sad that we don't have Sir CinnaBon. Despite being a headache, he is our headache and funny to watch swatting deadball practice 3s from opponents

“He has been working his tail off,” Bowers said. “They going to be great next year with him, Horace and the new guys coming in. Trayvon, he’s been working hard on and off the court. I sat down and had a talk with him to put some sense in his life. I told him ‘you’re a 7-footer, you can make a lot of money’. Just cut all the bull crap out.”
I find it funny that of all the people to have this conversation, it is Cinmeon

His on the court antics may be childish but he never really got in trouble off the court that I remember other than selling that Kentucky ticket in the SEC tournament

I am going to miss him like Kenny Gabriel. Both of them had the talent to be great college basketball players but neither could put their whole game together
