Canty got selfish in the second half last night. Lang and Brown hit some shots in the first half and barely touched it in the second. Pearl even said the same in his post game comments.

When the talent arrives, we will be better.
Spencer is a developmental player, but I think he will become a solid defender and rebounder.
Canty needs to be off the ball more. Dribbling into a 3 every other possession is not offense. I liked the look when we reversed the ball all the way to Lang for a corner 3. Too many of our possessions are just dribble into a 3 or Harris forcing a drive.

I agree, but that's no excuse to lose that game last night. We win if Bowers isn't a moron and Canty realizes he's not Kobe. Just frustrating to see us let winnable games go like that.

The problem is we can't seem to win without Canty being superman and so he tries to do it every game. My hope is next season with guys like Heron, Purifoy & healthy Dunans he recognizes he doesn't have to do it all and plays more team friendly basketball

You're right to an extend, IMO. Even when he's been really good, he's been able to get other guys involved. I'd guess he took 15-18 shots in the second half last night. He can't do that.

Agreed. Even though Harris was struggling you still have to keep all guys involved in the game. I think Lang needs to get more aggressive with his shot as well. So ready for Heron and Harper to get here

Yes. If not, there's the door. I don't like a PG that doesn't have an all-around game telling his coach what to do either. Notice how he never throws the ball cross court or inside to open up any kind of holes. Those kinds of passes come from his frustrated teammates.
